I was so excited to get this bed. I picked it out almost a year ago and saved up so I could have a match furniture set and I’m so incredibly disappointed. I thought liberty was known for quality. But the wood slats holding up this bed failed. On the second night of use the slats came undone where the screws were, and the wood splintered.leaving them free sliding. Then the wood itself cracked when my husband sat down. My husband isn’t even 200 lbs. That is NOT acceptable. Now I’m left with a giant bed frame that I can’t use and trying desperately to find a solution while I’m 8 months pregnant. I have to hope something can be done so I’m searching for the warranty but Amazon does not make it easy when my only option is to replace or return. I don’t need a whole new bed. I need new slats put in with the correct size screws (not the ones that come with it) with wood stands that aren’t too tall for the slat. These don’t rest on the edge where they should because the wood blocks meant to give it stability were too tall. Poor quality checks all around because this gorgeous bed is now unusable without me spending even more money and time to fix it. Very unhappy. ... show more
