Pcie extension cables of the gaming gods

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Amazing RGB peripherals for any PC setup. These definitely gave me more FPS :).

Looks very cool, but there is a disconnect in the light pattern

So first off, these cables are light years better than the first version that Lian Li came out with. The rgb effects are much, much better. The colors are much brighter and more vibrant. But for this item (the cable for connecting a gpu), there is a weird disconnect in the light pattern. There is sort of a line across the cable at one point where the colors don't change properly. I thought the one I got was defective and sent off to amazon for a replacement, but the replacement has exactly the same problem. I like the look of it enough to keep it anyway, but some people might not. If it didn't have this problem, I'd easily give it five stars. It's also pricey, but it's pretty much the only game in town for these kind of rgb cables, so yeah.

Really spruces up your PC's RGB Build although a bit pricey

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great extender cables. All the effects are really cool. Minus 1 star for price and requiring the 24 pin version in order to have the controller that provides the different effects.

Well worth the price.

Wanted to pull the trigger on this for a couple weeks after building my first PC, But wasn't too sure of the price on this let alone the overpriced 24 pin which is 90 bucks compared to 40 for the 8 pin. A little over board for some cable extenders but I mean I guess RGB does add 100 fps to any build lol. I decided to grab it and it's definitely worth it and adds a new level of aesthetics to your rig that fans and ram can't do alone. Lot's of customization options depending on which software you're using to control the lights. I have the dreadful gigabyte fusion and unfortunately none of the presets stream the light up each individual cable like I've seen on a lot of videos. Mine sends it all up in a row instead. But I mean there's plenty of other options besides that one. And of course there's other software that has other options as well. On another note it's pretty long and you'll for sure have to get it to fit into the case to be able to close the side panel unless of course you have an open basement. I have a h510 elite which has a little cut out for the PCIE cables to the basement and it wouldn't fit. So I had to stretch it across my motherboard pretty much and hide it behind the mini monitor I have underneath my GPU. Honestly makes me wonder why it is the length it is when you're not even gonna see most of it. Other than that it works as intended with no hiccups, looks great, and I would for sure recommend.

Best of the best

Had the original and had to get the Plus version, was only a matter of time. I will say the XPG brand version is quite good as well but the Lian Li offers more color options and pairs well with the 8pin cables as well

It was backwards! Lights only halfway

Not as much what I expected. The lights don't work all the time. Usually it's just halfway and not to mention they put the connections on BACKWARDS and reversed. I had to take it apart and flip it all around which was pretty frustrating and hard to snap the wires back into the plastics. The bottom looks messy when you bend it. Idk. Maybe mine is a dud. I mean it was on the wrong way. Maybe I will return it and try another. But for now. 1 star for the idea. If I get a new one and it works better than I will edit this review.

arrived with the RGB attached on the wrong side.

Yeah, so, look. Product is fine, works as expected...but I did have to spend an annoying chunk of time taking apart the cables from the LED strips, flipping everything over and putting it all back together, which involves individually cable combing everything - not something I had planned on doing. It came apart fine and went back together fine and is nice and secure, but that experience took away from the premium feel. Paying this much for a cable extension, I should at least just be able to plug it in and have the RGB...you know. On the outside. Not on the underside with the plain white cables facing out.
