    • Good battery, terrible terrible case (that is easily fixed).
The battery is great and seems has a significantly longer life. So no complaints about the battery itself. However the case it comes with (required to fit the battery) constantly pressed my volume down button. It was unusable as a phone and as media device with the case before I modified the case. But given 2-3 minutes and a small knife, I fixed the issue! If your case is pressing your buttons (yes, pun intended, sorry), you can carefully cut off that part (the volume button cover) of the case. I would recommend doing this while the phone is out of the case, with a small knife, making small scratches that you slowly deepen until it cuts through. I had better luck cutting from the inside of the case. Make two straight cuts---it might take 10 passes if you're slowly deepening a scratch---at the top and bottom of the button cover. Don't worry about making it slightly too big, there is no problem if you remove too much. To finish the hole, I found it easiest to make four diagonal cuts (two per each side): Top cut ======== / \ (each slash is a diagonal cut) \ / ======== Bottom cut In total this took me only 2-3 minutes and resolved all of my issues with the case. ... show more

Bought this battery to put into a V20 I had sitting down for the better part of 18months. The last battery I bought became swollen and I bought a new phone at that time instead of another battery. This battery was delivered on time and it fit well and the provided back cover also fits quite snugly. The only issue I can speak to relates to the phone itself which doesn't recognize the bigger capacity and only charges up to around 4,200mAh. Hopefully with enough charge cycles completed this changes. The main use of the phone is for my 5 year old son where instead of buying a new tablet I decided to let him use the phone as he always takes mine anyhows. The life is still quite robust even though it doesn't go up to its max capacity. ... show more

I've had this battery in my phone now for a one week. First off, the case that comes with the battery is not sufficient. It works but is super thin and made of a cheap plastic. It does fit well though and will work. The battery itself holds a good charge. Mine came charged to 45% fwiw. I can get an easy two days from a charge now. What I did for a case is this. You can get a "Tech 21" brand case from ebay for $5 to $6 shipped. This is a very nice case and is what I have been using on my V20 for a long time. I used a heat gun, very carefully I might add, to mold this case around the battery. I heated the case only on the side of the battery that is closest to you in the pic I have included. It won't take much heat to do this, and I put my phone in the fridge to cool everything off once I was done, to cool the battery off. Edit, 2/5/20 This battery is wonderful. My accubattery app (which is a great app btw) tells me my battery will last 52 hours. My usage consists of running google maps continuously for 10-13 hours a day, with moderate screen time. I drive semi truck locally and need to have a battery that will last me all day. I've been using it for over a month now and it works perfect. I would not hesitate to buy another. ... show more

I was using the default battery for my phone and It kept draining down to where it was almost dead everyday, and I am not a very social person, I mainly used it to check up on current events, and every now and then text or call people or respond to people doing so to me, I even tried installing firefox instead of chrome, because supposedly chrome eats up battery twice as fast as firefox, my battery was still draining quickly, though not as quickly. So I sought out a different battery, and due to real world situations I wasn't able to go to the store in person, so I ordered from Amazon. I was a little dissappointed with the size of the battery, its twice as thick and required me to use the case that came with it, instead of my own case, but after using my phone for the next few days I was very excited to learn that I was barely eating up 10% battery per day now. I'm very pleased by this battery. It really helped me out when I drove out of town and needed to use my GPS the whole way, that trip took up 30% battery, and I was using the bluetooth to listen to music on the way there. I highly recommend this to anyone having issues with the LG V20. ... show more

    • Great value, case lacks polish
I love the new battery capacity, it was a great way to extend the useful life (in terms of time before replacing phone) for a very affordable price. My two complaints are around the case itself. The hardness of the plastic reasonable if a little on the high side, but in the case of the volume button area the case simply too thick and hard to actuate the buttons properly. I ended up having to cut the button area out entirely as it's easier to just have them in a depression than have them not work or actuate the wrong button when used. Secondly, the mold for the case leaves very rough parting lines (seams) in the plastic and in particular, sharp little protrusions around the openings. I may smooth them out with a gas torch or soldering iron later as they are very annoying to rub your finger across. ... show more

update. i have to be fair it was my mistake on this order I was aware of what type of battery this was, I have never seen this type b4. is it as it's advertised, and let me say this for those that don't know why this batter is big on mah this batter comes with a phone case to hold this big battery in its like a double battery stuck together. So think of the battery you have now its about 3200AH well take and put 2 together, so this battery is pack wrap to line up to the battery connector and be 1 whole big battery. The catch is you have to remove your phone case and use the case they send. So below is my old poor rating. I'm fixing it This battery does not fit V20 phones this batter is thick no way it will fit ... show more
