Good value for the money. I have seen this headset for twice the money. The headset is durable and withstands moisture. This unit has dual mics making it easy for your phone calls to be heard. For head phones I always go with the wrap around the neck type. I use these for pleasure and work. The headphones allow me to call in patient reports hands free. Hands free allows me to continue to work. I use them to block the loud noise of the jet engine when getting out of the helicopter. Although, these are not advertised for hearing protection. I really like the retractable ear buds. This keeps the wires put up and out of the way until you need the earpieces. Dislikes. You can answer calls, adjust the volume up or down, and that is it. 3 yrs ago I got one as a gift , usually i get 6 to 8 hrs of audio from it daily if I was listening to a podcast or attending an online meeting, Recharged quickly, last 3 months I been getting 5 to 6 hours out of it, ear bud on the right stopped working about 6 months ago and the earbud on the left is Losing connection, got washed in the washer once, once ended in the pool, both times I dried it with pushing air in all the possible cracks or holes, best gift ever. Got my new one 2 weeks ago I love it, battery life is Improving as I completely drain and charge it again. Range is better than my old one. ... show more

I've owned at least 5 or 6 pairs of these over the years. they last a long time thru lots of abuse (yard mowing, chores, exercise, planes, etc.) when these die, I'll buy another pair. we both love our LGs

Initial impression is positivie. Just received it today and it paired easily with my S23Ultra. It prompted me to download an app that allows one to adjust a few details and behaviors. That's kind of nice. The earbud speakers are very quiet. I'm used to an EXFIT BCS 700 which has much more volume when listening to podcasts or on phone calls. My caller could hear me, but I had to turn my volume setting to max to hear them. It's awkwardly small. My BCS 700 fits around my neck in such a way that it hangs down in front a bit. That makes me feel it is secure and won't just slip off backwards. This LG Tone doesn't quite reach my collarbone and it has no "grip" feeling. It's so loose and flexible, like a wet noodle, I'm afraid it may fall right off. Time will tell. I'll try to update this in a week or so. 7-20 update: sending them back. I consistently get 4 to 4.5 hrs of play-talk time. They don't last an entire workday 😞 ... show more

I buy a new pair of these every few years. either because they break or the battery gives up. LG is my go-to brand since they have been solid performers with decent sound and great battery. they are comfortable to the point that I forget Im wearing them. I do like that they charge quickly using USBC. I have had to use the quick charge feature a few times, which is nice, However, it would be nicer if I could expect a full charge to last long enough I didnt need to quick charge. This unit may be defective since compared to the versions I have had in the past, the sound is flat and the battery doesnt last much more than 8 hours in stand-by on a full charge. compared to past instances that would last almost 2 days. I will most likely return them, which sucks. I hate returning items. ... show more

I got these earbuds to use with all the Zooms in my life--work meetings, teaching, book clubs, HOA meetings, everything! I like classical music, and was using my B&W headphones and a wireless mic. The B&Ws have great sound, which is why they cost $400, but the whole setup is bulky. My wife said I looked like a nerd with the mic and 'phones. I bought the most expensive Samsung earbuds, and they wouldn't stay in, so I went back to looking like a nerd. I think the biggest problem was that the only other person in the book club who wears 'phones is a real nerd, so this put me right in there with him, in my wife's eyes. Then I saw these. I have a lot of respect for LG. We have an 83" TV from them that's spectacular, as well as a couple of smaller sets. And my computer is an LG Gram, that's fast as blazes, has a huge screen, and weighs just 3 pounds, so carrying it around won't wear me out when I travel. When I'm working at home it drives 4 displays without a problem. The earbuds arrived yesterday. I charged them, and I'm using them now. They connected to Bluetooth right away I put them into my ears--they are smaller than the Samsung earbuds. Apparently the neck piece allows LG to move some electronics out of the earbuds. They fit really well and are comfortable. I also know that even if they do fall out, the cords on them will prevent them from going far. No problem with losing a small, expensive device. But the best part is the sound. I'm listening to violin sonatas right now, and the sound is wonderful. Is it 100% as good as the B&W 'phones? No. But is it good enough for listening to classical music for a few hours while I work? Yes, it is. In fact, I have to call the sound very good. I'm enjoying it. I think the folks at LG have made yet another great product! This is an update after 6 months of use. I wondered if the earbuds on retractable cords would still be attached and retracting after six months of daily use, and they are! It's actually pretty rugged.
