Dissappointing sound. I have had other LG products over the years and all have lasted well and I still use to this day so i decided to gove these earbuds a shot after reading the reviews. I love the extra features these buds have like the ambient noise sensors, dual microphones, water resistance and quick charge but it all falls apart when I actually use these to listen to content. For me, there was always distortion on audio, especially in music with a lot of mid range notes and high hats. I tried playing around with the EQ in the app on my phone, trying different volume levels, but nothing fixed it. I also tried different sources, mp3, youtube videos, etc. and the result was always the same. I plugged in my old pair of $20.00 wired Sony earbuds and the audio was clear. Maybe it was just bad luck and my pair were faulty out of the box but I already started the return process. I'll be trying a different brand soon.

Update again (August 2021) this is now a replacement set that I've had since February 2021. Let me say I LOVE the earbuds. But I'm tired of having the same issue every 6 months. The right side (which I use the most) split AGAIN. I've never dropped them. I called customer service and they are replacing them again. I'm not sure what is causing them to split. It's right at the seam everytime. They've redesigned the earbud for the 8 and 9s and I'm hoping that solves this problem. I just don't want to buy them right now. (purchased Sept 2020) The sound, battery life, and comfort are perfect. However, I just opened my case (that stays in a side pocket in my purse) and went to use the ear buds and one of them is randomly cracked at the seam?!? These have never been dropped and I've never had an issue until now. The sound now doesn't play out of that side (right side) which is why I was inspecting it. It's not even a seam that I can "pop" back in. I'm not sure what happened but I'm furious. I tried to call support to see about getting a replacement and customer service line randomly hung up on me (will have to try again). I'm not sure if I should expect the other to randomly break also now or what.
