    • After two months it's Great!
Purchased the refurbished model and so far, it's good. I like I can set it to bring the voice out to you with several setting which is great I can actually hear the words clearer with the setting and for the most part it stays there instead of having to go thru changing the settings. And as of where the last sound bar I owned didn't do that and I started searching and first bought another brand, but it wouldn't hook up to the optical for some reason but did Bluetooth, but it didn't have what I wanted the voice coming right out to you to hear what people are saying instead the overly loud music in most shows. The back speakers aren't too bad at all you get them set at the height you want behind you and it can make a big difference of how good this sound bar does work but the instructions are lacking even when you go to the website, they don't give you the full details you're looking for so I'm just playing it by ear with the buttons the bottom left small button let you set each of the speakers front and back to get better sound I found and right now on getting the best sound I can out of it but it's better than what I came from. So at the price you're getting more than what you're paying for, and I don't know how much they sell for since I can't find a new one so this must be last yeas model, maybe you can find the price, over all were liking it sound better especially hearing the center voice now. No regrets of buying so far and the surround sound from the bar itself and adding in the rear speakers makes a world of difference of great surround sound you can get out of this sound bar. I'd for sure buy another one since I hear lots of others like their sound bar. I have this hooked up to our 86-inch LG TV which has great speakers system itself, but they fire down and can't really hear them good unless you turn up the volume and we only sit about 13 feet at the most from the wall hung TV. This is where this sound bar came in and I will say it can make things better for people with bad hearing, just buy it and the one I got looked NEW I couldn't tell it had every been open it was that clean maybe I lucked out but glad I did.     • Wireless maybe not ready for main event
Bought the LG SN7R to augment my LG C1 OLED. Setup is about as painless as it could be; optical cable between TV and sound bar, wireless subwoofer and rear-channel pair automatically. TV has option to disable built-in speakers so the sound bar remote controls all audio (volume, mute, etc.). Watched "Prometheus" and was so underwhelmed by the surround sound that I put the rear channel back in the box because it wasn't worth the clutter. Sound bar plus subwoofer is hands-down a better experience than stock TV audio. Dialogue is clear, and the bass has enough oomph that it probably annoys the people downstairs if I don't get the volume turned down fast enough. Pretty happy with the TV setup. Pressing the "F" button on the remote you can switch the speaker to "BT"- Bluetooth mode. I pair my iPad/PC and play music when I'm not watching TV. This is great as I have a proper stereo without the clutter of special-purpose device. The added utility would have bumped my rating to 4 stars, but this is where there's problems. First, the Bluetooth connection has issues. All the devices I've tried occasionally drop their connection even when only 1-2 meters away in the same room. I've got other Bose/Apple wireless speakers/headphones that don't exhibit this behavior in the same environment. Second, the subwoofer occasionally drops its connection to the sound bar- easily noticeable because the bass disappears. Neither happens often enough to warrant a return (perhaps once per 2-3 hours), but it'll cost you a star! Finally, there doesn’t seem to be any Bluetooth pairing security, so ANYONE within range should be able to pair with it. YMMV depending on proximity of obnoxious/mischievous people. ... show more

    • Great sound system
This review is for the soundbar and woofer only, as I have not had a chance to use the satellite speakers yet. I will update if my review needs changing. I have been very impressed with the overall BOOM of this little setup. Coming from a traditional 7.1 setup, I wasn't sure how this setup would compare. I must say that I am glad I took the leap. Setup through the phone was quick for updates and the subwoofer connected instantly. Very great gift for Father's Day. Shipping was super fast too! ... show more

    • Works as expected but you might need a buffer to keep it from interfering with other signals
Came package fantastically arrived with no problems. Easy to assemble and connect all components. Synced to existing Bluetooth perfectly. But you need a buffer so that the signal does not cross over to other things in the room. I purchase a buffer and it works perfectly now
