Very happy - after looking for some time at different laptops to dual boot Linux as primary and Windows just in case, I went with this model. No touchscreen, which I knew going into it. Battery is not 10 hours as advertised but still lasts so much longer than other laptops I have used including Surface Pro 9. Getting Linux Mint to work on it with Secure Boot & MOK Util was a bit of a trick, and initially wireless/bluetooth would not work in Linux. After many hours of googling, I was able to get everything working perfectly. If you are just going to use Windows, it works perfectly out of the box. So light, so thin! I bought this as a secondary laptop for when I am on the couch, in bed, etc. It just may become my primary laptop. There are only 2 or 3 useful video reviews online so I was a bit nervous about the purchase - but this was money very well spent. LG doesn't do a good enough job marketing how awesome this laptop is!

This machine has been buggy since day 1 and now can no longer upload to internet (even after driver reinstallation, ipconfig/reset, network reset etc etc), and download, while functional is much slower than all other machines on out network. Machine is non functional for anything on web (zoom calls drop every 2-5 minutes or can’t connect, google and OneDrive non functional). Laptop is clear the issue as have plugged 2 other machines into same dock with exact same router/cabling etc and both work perfectly with 600-900MBS download and 30-50 upload speeds. LG says I need to mail it to them for them to fix it, for $500 repair charge (of which only $420 is refundable if they are unable to fix the issue).

Ok, I've been using this for a few months now and I pretty much love everything about it! I got the chance to upgrade to this item and I jumped on it like a kid on a trampoline. Heck yea! Want to know my last computer? A 2009 Dell Inspiron. Yes, my laptop is that old. I loved my Dell back in the day. I had it custom ordered with a ton of storage and at the time, the fastest processor and memory available. Well, dang near 15 years later, my Dell is still functioning, but that sucker is a tank! It's so heavy and I can't believe I used to lug that around in my backpack! At this point, my super upgraded stuff is now slower than a snail and it takes forever to get going. It still has more storage than nearly anything on the market, but that really does me no good anymore with the slowness of it. Thank god for cloud storage so all my old files are backed up (that took hours). Believe it or not, I was still using it until this year!!! I knew it was in dire need of replacement, and while I have fond memories of it, I am SO glad I finally upgraded. This LG Gram has all the bells and whistles and hardly weighs anything. I have stacks of paper on my desk that weigh more. Literally, the Gram is lighter than a ream of paper by a longshot. I swear I have day-planners heavier than this and I absolutely LOVE how lightweight it is (would have been nice in college for sure)! Storage? The Gram has 2TB!! It is different than my old Dell nowadays in that it is SSD, but holy cow! Plus all the cloud storage you can sign up for, I don't think I'll ever need an upgrade on the storage. I have looked at many laptops over the years thinking I will get one someday, but half the ones I see have like 32GB. Wth? My phone has more than 32GB and that is a ridiculously small amount of storage considering our whole lives are essentially digital these days. The massive storage is one of the key selling points for me on this. No external needed. Speed? This thing is fast. It boots up so quick and is ready to go in seconds. Yes, my laptop is nearly 15 years old so you think well duh, anything is faster. Yes, you're right, but I'm not basing the speed off just my old laptop. It's not like I haven't used any other devices for the last 15 years. I have new phones, tablets, work laptops, etc, so compared to all those devices that are far newer, the Gram is quick and can keep up with all sorts of work, media, and even a good amount of gaming with no problems. Other very nice features are the battery life - I can stay up all night working on a report and the battery will last me a good 6-8 hours without issue. It's awesome. Speaking of night, I also LOVE the backlit keyboard! I've been wanting that feature forever so I can work at night in bed, and not have to keep a light on making it hard for my partner to sleep. The backlight is absolutely awesome. Another feature I love on the LG Gram is the 10-key. I do a ton of data, spreadsheet work and having the 10-key is an absolute must for me. It is hard to find laptops with this amount of storage and 10-key and everything else I wanted. The 10-key on the Gram is set up slightly different than a regular keyboard, but it didn't take me long to get used to it and I am thrilled the Gram has 10-key. Ok, so the only con I have found so far is the sound. I find the speakers to be just lacking and the sound is on the bottom which is super weird. If you have it on your lap, it just muffles the sound even more. Its an odd set-up. Howver, sound with headphones for zoom meetings or whatever is fine, but this is not a music laptop. The best way to fix it is just connect to a bluetooth device and rock out :) The other con I found is one not really a con and is all my own fault. The touchscreen. I wasn't paying attention and didn't see the option and I did not order the touchscreen. I seriously regret that! I didn't realize how much I use a touchscreen and I find myself poking the screen, only to be reminded that I didn't order the touchscreen. Waaah!! Cry a little for me and save yourself from the same regret - get the touchscreen! So, long review short - I am absolutely thrilled with the LG Gram. I don't know all the "techy-tech" words/features, but I'm sure you can find those reviews somewhere before you buy. Without knowing all those terms, the Gram fits the bill for work and home and I am very happy with it. If you're in the market, I think this is a great laptop for college, work, work from home, etc. Just don't forget the touchscreen :)
