works well. the only downside: with the built in sound card it runs hot when I run audio programs this is a heads up for me to watch for premature audio card failure, like my older LG had happen. FYI: I am using a SoundBlaster sound card now, and my PC runs much cooler now. I get real good sound this way overall this is an excellent computer laptop. a side from issues with the OEM sound card I love this lap top. seems to be a good fast computer. one more thing: around here it is hard to get service on AN LG computer, I will have to go to LG service IF I ever do need repair on an LG computer. that's my experience ... show more

I bought this based on consumer reports reviews and am thrilled. This laptop is light as a feather and super fast. I’ve had 30ish windows and word docs open at once and it’s never slowed. Never going back to Dell. So happy with this buy!

I had been pondering about getting this LG Gram laptop for a couple of years. I worried that it may not perform well due to its weight; wondering what it was made of to keep it so light. My 17" HP Envy has been a great laptop too, except for being 3X weight. I like having the larger screen that 17" laptops have. With the higher UHD resolution, it reduces eye strain. I've been retired now for 6 years. I worked as a IT/Computer Technician in a government environment, so I worked with many laptops. Recently, I fell and seriously broke my shoulder; It could not be repaired. I find that small things are painful to carry or lift if more than 5 lbs. My HP Envy weighs nearly 7 lbs. The LG Gram only weighs 2.6 lbs. I finally bought it. It is so nice; I wished I had gotten it several years ago! I am very pleased with the power it has over my HP-ENVY. It has all the features I wanted in a laptop: the latest i7 Intel CPU, 2TB SSD, 32GB RAM, and awesome DDR5 video. So, if your sitting on the fence over choosing your next laptop, and want a powerhouse that is easy to travel with, this is it. I fully recommend it. ... show more
