I love how light the laptop is. You can take it anywhere with you without issue. Even the charger is lightweight, a cable and a small wall charger adapter which is likely as small as your phone charger. The battery lasts a decent amount of time with every day use, data entry, video watching, and internet browsing. It helps to take a mouse too to plug into your laptop as it makes it easier to use than the pad but it's not a big issue if you are doing casual browsing and forget it. The screen is quite bright and even in the bright light it's easy to see. It's not really the best for heavy video editing, while possible but slow. It's very quiet which I love. It's a full keyboard so you're set to go for daily tasks. ... show more

17" in matte screen with excellent color without the reflection. Great battery life, although not as long as stated but still over 10 hrs of running office (exel,word,pdf and outlook). No issues with any lags with office and web browser. Decent sound 6/10. Plenty of storage. Minimal bloatware (mostly from Microsft). Cons Wish it had the fingerprint reader like my older Gram rather than the Hello retina security. Also wanted 180 degree opening but n I t a huge issue. ... show more

Best part of the laptop (compared to other laptops in this price range) is the light weight form factor and the LG pre-installed face monitoring software. The face monitor can sense where you are looking when using two screens, and automatically adjusts the cursor to where you want to go. It works pretty well and is super convenient/cool feature (connected to a 16" portable monitor). For the size, and hardware, about one one of the lightest laptops out there. Runs well and fast. My biggest qualm is the keyboard, which is rather disappointing. Probably to save weight, but it flexes and just feels somewhat cheap. In this regard, I have found Lenovo laptop keyboards to be the best. The Lenovo laptop I compared it to, however, was a bit heavier by a pound or two. So the winning trade off for the LG was the weight factor. ... show more

I’ve been using this mostly as a light duty laptop. I’ve got a couple of basic games, but primarily it’s used for web browsing, writing, and college homework style things. It doesn’t run things like huge AAA games at the highest graphic levels or massive 3D sculpting programs that need a crazy graphics card, but that’s not really what it’s made for. It’s very lightweight, and for that, even though the size is a bit on the bigger side, it’s very portable. The wall charger as well, is small, which makes it fit in a bag well. That portability is I think the best part of this laptop. The battery also lasts quite a while even with heavy use. The speakers aren’t the greatest, but really, laptop speakers aren’t generally the greatest. If I’m at home, I have a cheap set of plug-in speakers with better quality, and out and about I just use a set of headphones anyways. For everything that I use it for, this laptop is great, and I would recommend it. Especially if you’re someone who takes your work on the go. ... show more
