    • Sound issues while on video/audio calls with LG Gram + Windows 11
I bought this laptop because I really liked an LG Gram that I bought a few years ago, and wanted an upgrade with a bigger screen and more RAM. So far I've been disappointed. I have a few issues with this laptop, though hopefully the main one will be fixed soon and it's probably not entirely LG's fault: My main issue is that audio calls (Zoom etc.) sound quite bad when using the built-in speakers -- much worse than using my old Gram. The audio is quiet and muffled, and if I turn up the sound the sound starts breaking up a bit. After googling some, I found that other people are having this issue on other laptops with Windows 11 (I cannot provide links in Amazon reviews, but you can search to find them). It seems that with some other laptop manufacturers, there is now an audio driver that fixes the problem, but I am fully updated with LG drivers and I still have this issue. I will likely have to send the laptop back to LG. My secondary issue is that the battery life is just OK. For example, after 3 hours of Teams and Zoom calls, the battery was pretty much entirely drained. I know that the "22 hours of battery life" is not meant to be while on high brightness and doing video calls, but still 3 hours is not very impressive. I think my old Gram still does somewhat better than this. Other than that, I feel that this can be a nice laptop. It's light and has a big screen, and the performance seems good overall. But I recommend not buying it until LG at least provides drivers that fix the sound issue. Otherwise, video calls sound terrible. ... show more

This project product was not as advertised. Do not buy from this seller! I bought a laptop w a 1TB SSD hard drive so I’d have plenty of space. Instead, they installed two discs w half that capacity each, rendering the second one useless because Onedrive only recognizes one drive (hence its name…), as does my backup program, Carbonite. There’s no way to break down that partition, as I learned while wasting about 25 hours with various incompetent tech-support people at Amazon and LG. This was false advertising, plain and simple. It was like having a 512 GB hard drive plus an external drive that happened to be installed internally as a back up drive. If I wanted a 512 GB hard drive, I would have bought one. I have no idea whether the problem is w the seller, LG, or Amazon, but after just reading three other reviews saying the exact same thing, I have no idea why Amazon is still selling this project. This is a bait and switch and should be reported to the BBB, not sold on Amazon. And Amazon’s techs should be told of the problem so they don’t waste people’s time trying to eliminate patriots that are hard-wired because they aren’t competent (and LG doesn’t answer Amazon’s calls). One other problem. For anyone else who actually uses a laptop in their lap, this unit has a really defective feature, namely that it blows piping hot air out from under it, so if you are resting it on your leg or in your lap, you’ll make it about five minutes before you start to get burned. Again, no idea how that could escape the notice of the engineers who built it, unless they just had some defective machines they wanted to get rid of and sold them with the wrong specs, then added a second drive when people complained that the drive was only half of what it was advertised as, and the cooling system was inadequate. ... show more

The actual model of this laptop is different than advertised - it has only a 512GB SSD instead if 1TB. See attached image - Model 16Z90P-K.AAE7U1 instead of 16Z90P-K.AAS9U1. Apparently someone mislabeled the product and has put a sticker on the box with the wrong specs. I will be sending it back. Notice that this is not the only review with this problem. ... show more

Bait and Switch. I ordered and paid 1TB SSD and was send 512GB SSD. This is not the item I paid for. LG sent the cheaper model! Do not order this laptop.

Very light. The unit is advertised to have 1TB solid state but was actually shipped with just 512Gb drive. Amazon blames LG but LG confirms the unit shipped was meant to have just 512Gb
