I have previously used the 2019 LG Gram 17 as a daily driver. The 2021 Gram 16 2-in-1 offers everything that my 17-inch did plus more. Due to the abundance of reviews for the normal 16/17 grams, I will only touch on the differences that you will notice with the 16 inch 2-in-1. 1. Ports: The 2-in-1 only offers 2 USB-C (TB4), 1 USB-A 3.0, and micro SD reader. It is missing the full HDMI port and a USB-A port. This is a definitely a minor annoyance with the model. The included USB-C to HDMI adapter works well enough and I have not had issues with it connecting to an external 4k monitor. I have had problems connecting displays via USB-C however, but I suspect that this is due to using the Win 11 dev channel build and I expect kinks to be sorted out with time. 2. Weight: The 16 inch 2-in-1 is slightly heavier than the 17-inch. The difference is noticeable, but it does not really make much of a difference in normal everyday usage. I still carry around the 2-in-1 just as I would with the 17 inch. 3. Touch screen: 16 inch touch screen has worked flawlessly. I have installed Win 11 insider preview on my machine and let me tell you: Win 11 makes the gram 16-inch 2-in-1 the best multi-tasking, media consumption, and pen-related creativity activity device in tablet mode. I do not think there is another device on the market (not even iPad Pro) that can match the gram 16 2-in-1 in terms of (1) large touch screen, (2) portability, and (3) multi-tasking capabilities (given that you update to Win 11). ... show more

    • Almost perfect but as great as you can get nonetheless
Everything is perfect. I only have 3 'complaints': 1) the webcam is 720p and surprisingly worse (grainier, noisier) than the camera on my 2015 Dell XPS 13. In the era of Zoom meetings, this is very bad. Not bad enough for me to return since everything else about this laptop is perfect, but it is disappointing. Seems I will have to continue using an external camera. 2) Another con is that the black model is a fingerprint magnet. 3) There is no magnet on the laptop for the stylus. I'm a bit afraid to use the stylus for this reason since I don't want it to get lost. I'm not exactly sure where I'm supposed to put it. I've seen other stylus laptops have a side magnet for their stylus and that would have been nice here. Otherwise, everything else is perfect. Great aspect ratio, keyboard, trackpad. Love reading pdfs in tablet or tent mode. The stylus works great, even though I'm not used to taking notes with it yet. The screen is very nice. Love the instant start on. A side mention: when the laptop is closed properly in laptop mode, there is some give.. you can squeeze the screen further down. I'm not sure if this is because of the 2-in-1 hinge, but it does worry me a bit. The bottom corners of the keyboard (near the trackpad) have two little rubber feet, yet the top corners don't have them, so perhaps that is why there is an uneven give. I'm not sure if this was a manufacturing error, it seems to be so that when you're using tablet mode, the keyboard won't directly touch the table surface. But it seems odd not to have those rubber feet in the top corners (near the function keys) ... show more

    • Fantastic product, came with Windows 10 home, not 11
The display is great. The screen is shiny, so you'll get some reflections in certain lighting conditions. I don't mind at all, but others might. Good color and viewing angles. I was worried about audio quality, but it's not bad. I bought this primarily for watching movies/tv shows that I store locally, not streamed, so I wanted big storage space. For clarity, this is 2 separate SSDs of 1TB each. I don't mind that, but some might prefer 1 big drive. It's not meant to be a gaming system, but it does run older/less demanding games well enough. I was getting 45-60 frames when I tested Portal 2, and the same for Minecraft. Just don't buy this if gaming is a priority. I haven't tested everything yet, but so far it's running very well. I'm curious to see how durable the hinges for the display will be. They're pretty firm, and hopefully they stay that way. I give it 4 stars. I'd give it a 5 if it had high-quality speakers. PS - They included a type-c to HDMI adapter for those who want to plug in a display with HDMI. ... show more

    • so far a great laptop HOWEVER, buyer beware of noted specs!!!!
Although Amazon made good with a proper discount, post payment and deliviery, it was somewhat underwhelming NOT to get the exact device for which I paid - notably, the processor speed (advertised at 4.7 GHz - it is actually 2.8 GHz), the SSD (advertised to be 2T - it is actually 1T-), and RAM (advertised at 2T when it is actually 16 GB). Sloppy data input or malicious false advertising? I suspect the former, however, it is frustrating to spend all of the time required to research the very many options available only to finally find "just the right one" and be willing to spend the money to get "just what you want" only to find out that, nope! you didn't get exactly what you wanted. OH, and it was supposed to have Windows 11 installed. Again, nope! It came with Windows 10. Amazon said they would correct the mis-infomation of tech specs for this particular item, but it's still showing the wrong info. ??? ... show more
