Upgraded from my Samsung Galaxy S5 and am so thrilled! My old phone was driving me crazy with google voice bugs when I used headphones, the blurry camera, and all of Samsung's bloatware. I was not up for an upgrade so decided to find a well priced refurbished phone. The issue of the bootloop for the LG G4 is undoubtably scary but I've yet to have an issue (knock on wood!). The phone I ordered was refurbished and was released with the other phones that were likely to have the bootloop issue. If it happens to me, I will edit my review to let you all know it occurred and how LG handled fixing it, as it is not under warranty. The biggest annoyance for me is the slow charging with a few of the chargers I have (the phone legitimately says that the charging will be slower). The camera is just unbelievable, especially in manual mode. I am so impressed with the quality images the phone produces. I love the leather back so much so that I cannot force myself to put a case on it. Due to this, I ordered a glass screen protector to help with damage control. I use Nova launcher and love how speedy the system operates constantly. The physical size of the phone is wonderful and something I never knew I needed! All in all, this phone is a pleasure to use and unless something significant happens, I'm going to stick with LG in the future! ... show more

I have an LG G4 which I have used for the past year. Suddenly, my phone shut itself down and would not turn on. No matter what I did, it would not turn on. Imagine my shock when I did some research and found out there is a hardware problem with the G4 that LG knows about. When I contacted Verizon, I was told that LG would replace the phone because there was a hardware problem. Different story when I called LG. I was told to mail the phone to them and they would check it out to see if there was damage to the phone and decide what to do with it... That was their answer even after I explained that this was my only phone, address book, alarm clock..etc, etc. LG customer service has seriously declined, when there are tons of forums on line showing the same thing I am now experiencing and they will decide what to do with the phone once they ensure I haven't damaged it. Here's a thought, don't sell defective products and not replace them even when they acknowledge that the defect is a manufacturing one. I have been kept on hold for over a half hour only to be told the same thing. UNACCEPTABLE. LG... you've just lost several customers. ... show more

    • Great upgrade from an older model android.
I really love this phone. I upgraded because of the space and the camera abilities. Both have proven to be worth the upgrade cost. I put all of my apps on the phone and still have 66% free storage without counting my micro SD card. The cameras are both great and I am really appreciating the ability to adjust ISO and shutter speed. While not the same as working with a DSLR camera, the added control is nice. I have yet to take any photos in RAW as I usually opt for smaller, more compatible file types. I was originally worried about the larger size, but it was a very short adjustment period. The battery life isn't all that great, but Android Marshmallow does have a good way of monitoring it. The biggest drain on the battery is the large screen. When charging up from a dead battery, the phone alerts you to use the "original charger" to speed up charging time. Not sure what to do about that. I love the leather back. So classy. I have however ordered a clear case to protect the phone's edges and keep the leather look exposed. ... show more

I am rating 5 stars bc the red cell went over and above to guarantee my satisfaction with my purchase. First, I paid for the expedited shipping, but I then realized that it only made it two days sooner than the free shipping, so I emailed them to see if they could speed the process at all. They responded very quickly and told me they would do everything they could to make it arrive as soon as possible. It arrived 2 days later! (Which was a surprise to me because it was the weekend.) I was very impressed! Then, after using the phone for a couple days I noticed that it the battery and charger we're not a good match. (It wasn't charging quickly or staying charged as long as it should.) So, again, I emailed them and they responded almost instantaneously to tell me that they would put a new battery and new charger in the mail that day for FREE. Which I then received two days later. Again, very surprised and pleased with every aspect of their service. I would definitely recommend the red cell! Using the phone now to type this out! Lol it was in flawless condition as well, could not tell at all that it was used! Came in the verizon box even! ... show more

I have had this phone for 2 months and I really love it. I had an iphone 4 and this phone blows the iphone out of the water. Super easy to navigate, great camera, nice customization options, good battery life, and super fast charging. I haven't found anything I didn't like about this phone! It does not come with a Verizon SIM card so if you have an old phone like I did you will have to go to Verizon to get one. They gave me one free of charge and I did not have to renew my contract. I would definitely recommend this phone if you are looking. ... show more
