  • Very impressive phone!
This phone is awesome. My daughter wanted to switch from iOS to android. I was skeptical until we got this phone. It is a ver nice phone! The leather on back is beautiful. The responsiveness of this phone is impressive as well. It is so close to the same size as my iPhone 6s Plus. It also has more screen space which is nice when looking a pictures. ... show more

  • Arrived Broken
I already have a LG G4 and love it, so I bought one for my daughter-in-law. I had serious trouble with the phone from this vendor. The voice microphone did not work. In the event I paid an extra $75 dollars for a repair which involved cutting the mother board in half and reattaching a new piece. I did not contact Amazon or the vendor at the time, because I had already sacrificed my daughter-in-law's original I-phone and was pressed to get her set up with the new G4. I intended to contact the vendor after the fact, but I lost the repair receipt. Anyhow, be careful. ... show more

  • Not real leather.
Described as a leather back but it came with a plastic leather looking back. The battery life is horrible. It dies very very quick, but charges fast.

  • bootloop issue;(
After one year and a few months the infamous bootloop issue struck my lg g4. I am so disappointed! It worked nearly perfectly, great camera, great screen. The only problem was that the speaker was not loud enough. And now it keeps restarting over and over again!!! Looking for a better phone now.

  • Nice phone overall
Really nice phone overall. I switched to LG G4 from my 1st gen. Moto x. G4 feels much smoother. Also love its small software designs by LG. Love the slightly curved body design as well. Also, two day shipping is on time.

  • Great phone but I returned it anyway
Eventhough this is the best flagship phone this year I still returned it. Here's the thing, I used to sell cell phones and I still keep up with what's up and what's coming out. I have strong opinions on how important a smart phone can be in daily life. And there is no phone that is perfect for everyone because we all have differing needs and priorities. In the end, the G4 simply didn't match up with my priorities. I came from a Moto X (2013). The Moto is an amazing phone because (1) there isn't a plethora of bloatware and what it does have is pragmatically useful (Active display, shake to turn on camera, Moto voice); (2) the form factor is damn near perfect; (3) AMOLED screen and (4) has battery life. I had the G4 over a weekend. By the end of day one I already noticed how quickly the battery drained. It was fast. A battery's capacity to hold a charge diminishes drastically in one year. So if it couldn't hold enough of a charge on the first day, then how bad is it going to be in one year? That bothered me a lot. The screen was the next problem. When it comes to LCD v. AMOLED, one type of screen is not better than the other, but they do perform better and worse in areas. For me, LCD screens look faded and washed out. The G4 probably had the best LCD screen I've seen, but just not as rich or vivid as an AMOLED screen. In hindsight, it didn't help that I was test driving a glass screen protector at the same time I was trying out the G4 because the touch screen was noticeably less responsive. I don't know how much the glass screen protector had to do with that and how much was because of LG. The good news is I discovered I hate glass screen protectors. As for form factor and build, the G4 did not have nearly enough grab to it, despite having a leather back, which is usually a tacky surface. It's also a big phone but more importantly it felt like a bigger phone. The Nexus 6 (which is a large Moto X without the nifty software), on the other hand, is a bigger phone that only feels as big as the G4. Ultimately, the biggest deficiency I was missing was the Moto "bloatware". Active display (now called Moto display) and shaking to turn on the camera are way more useful than they sound. With the new Moto X they added using a chop motion to toggle the flashlight and the ability to customize Moto voice's launch phrase ("Are you there, NSA?" is mine) In the end I gave back the G4 and switched carriers to upgrade to the Moto X (2014). Unboxing the Moto X felt like the end of the new Star Wars trailer where Han says " Chewy. We're home." The moral of my story is that an arsenal of high end specs will make a great phone but not a great fit. And by the way, you should have heard/seen the Sprint employees when I brought back the G4 and told them it wasn't as good as my Moto X. It was a litany of " But, but, but, but.." I probably came across as certifiably crazy with that statement from their point of view. Pretty damn funny, if you ask me. ... show more

  • A great phone for an ATT account, not the best for Tracfone.
At the suggestion of Tracfone, I purchaed this phone to use on the Tracfone network as part of their BYOP program. The phone worked well as a smart phone and in making and receiving calls and text messages. Since the phone is model H810 and designed for ATT a number of functions tend to look to for an ATT account or cloud connection. I found this very distracting to and otherwise lovely phone. Therefore I returned it in favor of a factory unlocked international version model H815 which is free of these quirks ... show more
