The media could not be loaded. I had an old Vizio 50” for many years, I’d guess about 8 years. While I had the money, I just never wanted to spend it since the TV was fine for me. Well, I got some Christmas gifts that were money, with the express idea of helping me buy a TV. I chose this 65” LG OLED. It’s enormous, possibly too big for a 1Br apartment tbh, lol. I had to move my couch back a little bit. The blacks are jet black, and the whites (simultaneously) are bright enough that it looks like glare coming from them. It’s a vast difference from my old TV. The picture is amazing, and it’s 120 Hz. Coupled with a PS5 (or Xbox, or PC) it’s awesome, it even has a substantial amount of gaming settings and a little gaming dashboard. It’s like a whole different experience than my old TV. It also has all of the modern smart TV features, including of course streaming services (I used to have to use my PS5 for HBO Max, but no longer). I love it tbh. It’s a lot of money for something that honestly would be fine at a lower quality offering, but I’m happy with it. It was delivered with “chose the room” type of service, which I picked because I live on the second floor, so they carried it up for me. I set it up myself and disposed of the box/garbage. Make sure if you lift the top of the box off to get to the TV that you pull out the foam insert in the top of it, that’s where the remote and stuff is. Lifting the top off is best in case you want to save the box intact, but the foam piece is basically pressed in there, so you’ll have to carefully pull it out from the very top of the box. At first i thought I was missing stuff because I’m not the brightest. The sound is like having small PC speakers with a subwoofer, it’s far beyond my old TV. It has very loud bass, not like older TVs. If you haven’t upgraded in a while, it’s a pretty cool experience. It has a ton of features and settings. I love it, no issues so far and set up was extremely fast (I don’t have cable, I only use streaming stuff, so maybe that’s why). Slowest thing was downloading the LG app and making a profile, then connecting. Otherwise? Very fast and easy. ... show more

The LG C3 OLED is the latest model in LG’s popular C series of OLED TVs, which have consistently delivered excellent picture quality and features for high-end shoppers or for shoppers looking for something closer in price to mid-range TVs while delivering S-tier performance. The C3 OLED boasts a sleek and minimalist design with an ultra-thin panel. The C3 OLED also supports four HDMI 2.1 inputs with various gaming features, such as 4K 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, FreeSync Premium Pro, and Nvidia G-Sync12. For the purposes of my review, we're going to focus on gaming, as that's been my overwhelming, primary use for this TV since it arrived and I got it all setup a little over a month ago. Here are my thoughts for the gamers reading this, and I hope it helps you make a decision -- this is for the 65" model: The LG C3 OLED is a great TV for gaming on various platforms, and I have connected and used virtually every type of gaming experience, such as PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and even my ROG Ally. Here are some details about its gaming performance: - The LG C3 OLED supports 4K 120Hz gaming on all four HDMI 2.1 ports, which means you can enjoy smooth and detailed gameplay on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. The TV also supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), FreeSync Premium Pro, and Nvidia G-Sync, which can reduce screen tearing and stuttering and optimize the input lag. - The LG C3 OLED has a very low input lag of around 10ms, which is ideal for fast-paced games that require quick reactions. I like everything about this TV - absolutely everything. I upgraded from a four-year-old LG OLED 65" and you wouldn't think that there could me a whole lot of improvement in just 4 years - but you'd be wrong! The deep blacks, the vibrant, more varied colors, the brightness of the overall picture, the clarity, the smooth refresh rate (for instance when watching a pass in football), the speed of all the various menus and apps; all of it is mind-blowingly good and WAY better than the OLED of four years ago! I bought this on a Black Friday special so the price was very good IMO. This TV is a huge improvement over our old 4K TV. The picture is amazing and the sound output is so-so (as expected). We are currently using the apps on the LG TV. So far the LG apps are not bad but we may switch back to ROKU. Again, no surprise there since most reviews slam all of the TV app systems. The remote is really something for those of us who have not had a TV upgrade in a long time. Point it at the TV and a cursor appears to speed up navigation. Also does voice commands. The OK button in the middle of the navigation buttons is a wheel that allows you to scroll. It probably does more stuff that I haven't discovered yet. Nice remote. Great TV. ... show more
