I have a cabin in the woods no internet phone or TV. So I use this player every day almost. It’s the third one in a row I have bought now. I over use them but I get my moneys worth each time. This last unit didn’t come with a remote control, a cleaning kit was given instead. The controller was extra. But I had two extras from pass orders. I hooked everything up. I put the Wi-Fi on it. Everything was included in the box as described. It updated the software as soon as I hooked it up. No issues. It works fine. It had You Tube, Netflix and Amazon prime and other software that we don’t use. I think the only thing is that it could have included more software to download. But I realize this is a new player but probably an old unit, from judging what was on there. Recommend! ... show more

This little dvd player works well and has a nice picture. The remote is like all the other LG dvd player remotes- small but easy to use. I bought it strictly for the dvd player and have not used the wi fi feature. I already have a Roku and an Amazon fire stick and so will not use this for streaming. Player works well except it will not let me stream Paramount Plus. I have a paid subscription through Prime Video. When I try to watch it says “This device doesn’t support a subscription to Paramount +. Remote needs direct line of sight doesn’t work at an angle. It also has a very limited number of apps. The player works fine so far and the picture quality is good.

    • I'm playing a DVD not accessing the internet.
The picture quality on DVDs or Blueray discs is outstanding. The low rating is becase while playing a disc, the system displays a large notice that it's trying to access the internet without the option to dismiss.

    • Very Good Unit -- Works as Adertised
This unit is working great now with good picture and sound. The app that you can download is working great too. I have Prime and You Tube -- they will be the only channels I use although there are a couple more to download if you want. Having said all of this -- let me add -- this is my 4th DVD recorder --I have owned over the past 5- 8 years. Setup and installation should be easy -- but for me it is a headache. I had 2 issues with this unit. One -- no power from a perfectly good AC outlet. Two -- my TV has multiple HDMI connections -- but only one works -- so it was a lot of trial and error once the power issue was discovered. It has been set-up for 48 hours now and seems to be working fine -- I'm getting used to using the app control -- so no problems early on. ... show more

wish it had rgb conects. I did not pay attantion. It is hdmi only so could attach to my stereo.
