We purchased this net and made an at home batting cage for our grandson as we live 60 miles from the nearest cage. The net is nice and heavy and was very easy to install on our frame with all the clips. Hopefully he will get many years of usage.

I purchased the 70 x 12 x 14 ft net for my 14 yr old in middle school. I had other batting cage nets which tore and ended up with lots of holes and a poor, unsafe experience. This net is an extremely solid and strong with excellent roping to connect to the batting cage structures - vertical support poles and overhead bracing. The net weighs ~ 115 lbs, so you will need to PLAN WELL to ensure the batting cage supports are strong - metal or wood preferred. If you’re looking for a quality net which will not rip, tear… then this is your net.

The first one I purchased 4 yrs ago was still in excellent condition. (outdoor/sun) We had a 500 yr ice storm over the winter and it brought down several huge trees. One which took out the corner of the barn and the entire batting cage. I’m happy to re-order and expect many years from the new cage. It is easy to put up (if you have the infrastructure already), it moves in-out easily, looks sharp. Which serious players don’t love having a great practice cage?

We bought this net for Christmas Within a week we had multiple holes. Reached out to company and said it was wildlife that caused the holes. Since the times the holes were noticied the batting cage was rolled and off the ground at least 2 feet. We play in it this week and 3 more holes are there. The send a patch kit with the first report of holes. Now they say it’s wildlife put out a camera and catch the culprit and hoping the patch kit will fix the problem because sending another net we would have the same problem. Nothing is eating the net at 2 foot up when it’s rolled, and we already have cameras. So now we have a 700.00 bathing cage with holes. Got to love when you spend money and you think it’s a good product. This makes about hole number 6 so far. If it were wildlife, seems like the L screen which stays on the ground would be destroyed too.
