Yes, this rug stinks to hell when you first take it out of the vacuum-sealed bag. Place it outside for a couple hours and it’ll be fine. It’s so lightweight, you’re like, how?? But it has just enough padding to be comfortable to relax on and the rubber backing keeps it from sliding terribly but I think we’re still gonna get one of those anti slip rug things. We did originally purchase the 8 x 10 but it was way too big for the room so we returned it for the 6 x 9 and that was perfect. I do want to say that the 8 x 10 smelled way worse than the smaller one; just a little heads up. All in all? It’s beautiful, won’t show any stains or dirt easily (we have three kids and a cat & dog), and I think it’ll hold up for a long time. And for the price, you can’t beat it.

Ok, so I bought this “rug” with the intention of replacing the 5X7 thick fluffy/shag rug I have under my massage table. I couldn’t believe how inexpensive this rug was, and now I know why. So this “rug” is honestly JUST like a bath mat, a big 5X7 bath mat at that. It has the same little rubber grippies under the “rug” (just like a bath mat), a spongy kinda foam-ness about the meat of it, and then very soft fluffiness on the top. Not at all full in the fluff, but nice. I definitely would never use this outside the bathroom or laundry room with the obvious exception of under my massage table. It’s easy to fold up like a blanket and can be easily washed, although based on my black shirt and pants being covered in fuzz I’m going to say a very gentle cycle when I do. But do be warned, this is not a rug you’d roll at all.

The rug arrived sealed and all, felt soft and nice. It was just like how it looks on picture however, there were some tiny bugs stuck to the fur in the rugs. I had to deep clean before it was ready to use.
