Yes, this rug stinks to hell when you first take it out of the vacuum-sealed bag. Place it outside for a couple hours and it’ll be fine. It’s so lightweight, you’re like, how?? But it has just enough padding to be comfortable to relax on and the rubber backing keeps it from sliding terribly but I think we’re still gonna get one of those anti slip rug things. We did originally purchase the 8 x 10 but it was way too big for the room so we returned it for the 6 x 9 and that was perfect. I do want to say that the 8 x 10 smelled way worse than the smaller one; just a little heads up. All in all? It’s beautiful, won’t show any stains or dirt easily (we have three kids and a cat & dog), and I think it’ll hold up for a long time. And for the price, you can’t beat it. ... show more

This rug has exceeded and and all expectations that I had. It’s the third rug I’ve had in my apartment and it is by far the nicest. It’s like walking on a cloud. For the price I paid, I couldn’t be happier and would have been happy spending more than I did. I appreciated the packaging as it was vacuumed seal and easy to transport to my home. This is absolutely the softness rug I’ve even felt. It arrived in a vacuum packed bag so I was skeptical at first & it had a strong odor. Once it aired out the odor completely dissipated & it’s now my favorite rug. I Love this rug & will be recommending it to everyone.
