A powerful and highly versatile LED cycling light, the Strip Drive Front is lightweight, waterproof (IPX7 rated), and durable thanks to a co-molded lens/body construction. Five high-output LEDs deliver up to 400 lumens through ten different output modes. The Mode Memory function conveniently returns the light to the last-selected mode after the light has been turned off. The Strip Drive Front also features built-in side visibility thanks to an enhanced lens, and its unique design is compatible with both aero and round-section handlebars.     • Excellent front daylight warning light.
Excellent front daylight warning light. Have used it many times. It’s very bright with multiple excellent patterns to warn cars that you were coming. Takes up quite a bit of room on your handlebar, though. If you have a Garman mount for a bicycle computer. It partially blocks one of the LEDs. Despite this, it is very observable from a good distance. It is not adequate for a night light, but is an excellent front warning light. It charges easily and the battery life is quite long. Appears to be extremely well-made and solid. The only question is whether the USB stem will last, since it seems somewhat shaky when the rubber cover is removed. I have an old 90s Trek with classic very thin-tubed handlebars. This light mounts excellently onto them. I've only had to charge it a couple times over the past two months of commuting, excellent battery life, and cars really seem to notice it (in all lighting conditions).     • Bright light but questionable battery life and a bit pricey
I need a bright daytime light for road rides and did not purchase this for nighttime riding. This light is quite bright with its multiple LEDs and various blinking combinations. However, I’m not so sure about the battery strength. After riding an hour in a flash mode (modes 3,4 or 5) the red light comes on with the green light. I think this indicates 50% battery remaining. I saw some other reviews that also noted the battery did not hold a charge very long so perhaps I received one of the ones with a faulty battery. I don’t believe the claimed charge times now although the longest ride I’ve done so far is 2-1/2 hours and it continued to burn brightly in the flash modes. The mount is awkward and the rubber must be pulled hard to attach it to my standard road bars. It also does not seat on the handlebar flat and instead tilts a bit, but probably not enough to impair the visibility to oncoming traffic or vehicles pulling out of side streets. As claimed in the description, it does charge quickly, within 2 hours. So in summary, very bright light, questionable battery life and a bit expensive for this type of light. ... show more
