Now that I've had this for a few months, I can address some concerns others have expressed. A few users complain that, although it looks great when it's new, the finish "rubs off" after a while. That hasn't happened to me, and I keep my phone in my pocket most of the time. With OTHER things, like keys or whatever (yikes). So from my perspective, it's pretty durable. Now, the back is this "piano black" coating, so if fingerprints trigger your OCD, you might want to avoid this one! Doesn't bother me because I just wipe it down, but I do understand people who might find that off-putting. Just letting you know that it does show fingerprints, and HOW! The fit is perfect. The little "ring" kickstand, whatever it's called, is kind of cute. It's a lot thinner than the popout type, which is a big plus for me. But you may find it just a bit frustrating to pull out, unless you have long fingernails. It's a really short learning curve getting used to, because you can rotate that ring in case you like sticking your finger in it while you hold the phone. The case itself is thin, but strong enough to do its job, and it doesn't get in the way of the fingerprint reader. I want to simply call it "slim", because "thin" makes it sound fragile and cheap, which it is not. And it's really quite flexible, so you can easily remove it to clean your phone, and then reinstall. Because of the "piano black" coating, it slips into and out of a pocket very easily. Some people like the "grip" of the rubbery cases, but I can't stand that, because of where I keep it. This one's slippery enough not to turn my pocket inside-out when I get a call. For the price, this one was a no-brainer for me. If ever this thing breaks (and it sure seems durable so far), or the color wears off, I'll just buy another one. Would not hesitate. Meanwhile, it's just really nice-looking. Not ostentatious at all, even if the photos make it seem that way. It just has an understated elegance about it. ... show more
