Description
The original Lew’s Speed Spool set the bar for performance in the affordable class of reels. However, the new and improved Speed Spool LFS just destroyed that bar with a sledge hammer. Featuring a new frame design to fit your hand with ease, high-strength solid brass Speed Gears and a P2 Super Pinion gear for smoother operation and extended gear life, the Speed Spool LFS just received a heavy-duty upgrade at the same great price.

Don't hesitate to buy this reel!
Style: 7.5:1 Lh
I have been using some diawa baitcasters and thought I was due for an upgrade so I bought this. I was anxious to try it so I tossed some junk mono on it and set the reel up for a topwater frog. I went out in my yard and started casting. Let me tell you this reel will make you a better and more accurate caster... This reel smokes my others by miles. I can hit targets now and cast further than I ever could by quite a distance...

A New Old Pal !!
Style: 7.5:1
Lew and I have fished for 50 or so years as a trusting pair. I also used the Abu Garcia classic baitcasters. This new Lews is impressive, using modern materials where appropriate. There is nothing low class here. It is still "speedy." It is still silky smooth and the revisions allow for a low profile.

Excellent Bait Casting Reel
Style: 7.5:1 Lh
Smooth action, both in casting and retrieving. Easy to zero-in to avoid tangles / birds nest. Price makes this an even better buy.

It's a lews, it's the best
Style: 6.8:1 Lh
I'm a big fan boy of this company so I have a biased review. It's a great reel. It does everything you're looking for in a baitcaster. I started with the classic pro. Have 5 of those now, so I decided to step it up a bit and go for this model. It was worth it. I absolutly love this reel. You should buy one too! Lews Rules!
