SWA works great on my 17 feet deep v-boat. A very economical option for smaller boats versus very expensive hydraulic or electrically operated anchors. Strap used to pull the articulated anchor up out of the water could be of a better design but is functional. Great value!

This product works well with anchoring. The only problem is the clip on the strap you pull it up with is not strong. It came open while lifting it back to the boat. You must reinforce this by purchasing a better clip.

These are a great option if ya dont wanna drop 3 grand on power poles!!!! The Lewmar manual anchor looks great, functions great, unbelievable price, easy to install, had it dun in about an hour. So awesome! Can't wait to park up somewhere n throw out a line!!

The only place connecting the retracting strap and the power pole, is a plastic buckle. The buckle broke the first time out. Who in their right mind would design this so that the weight of the entire pole is dependent on a thin piece of plastic? I improvised by tying a knot in the strap where the buckle was and it is working fine. As far as the "quick release mounting bracket" they say you can add for convenience - UNAVAILABLE.
