This Lews reel is the best reel I have ever felt. It is not to heavy and can cast a country mile.pretty easy to tune, and amazing colors. Amazing value I would easily pay 200 to 300 dollars for it. This also feels great in person. GREAT job Lews

Let me start by saying, I still used an older Quantum PT Team KVD reel on one of my go too set ups. Still buttery smooth and reliable! This Lews has been no different. I recently picked this up to replace a Lews Mach Crush that started to crack on the main bar near the worm gear. The build quality is fantastic and eliminates the issues I had with my Mach Crush by using an all aluminum frame. This reel is also buttery smooth and far better than what it is priced at. I have been looking for a left handed cranking reel in a ratio of 5:? To 1, but if the GOAT says 6.2 works then so be it. I have looked around and only found $200 LH baitcasters in cranking gears, this is $50 cheaper. I have never used baitcasters before until Lews offered LFS reels in LH, so take that for what it is. This reel is modeled just like the LFS line but with more features. I own several Lews LFS models (6.8 to 1 + 7.5 to 1), a tournament series (8.3 to 1) and a couple of BB1s (6.5 to 1). This reel has everything the other reels have packed into 1. LFS body/shape. Tournament’s centrifugal clutch w/magnetic drag. BB1’s centrifugal clutch (with less points of contact. All with 10+1 bearings. Adjustability seems unlimited. Casting is smooth. Retrieve is a little stiff but will loosen up with use. Great reel, only ding is for price. This is my second 8:3:1 LFS speed reel from Lews and I have to say, outside of the foam paddles this is a very esthetically pleasing baitcaster. Functionality is super smooth, caster super far and is really fast to land that fish in quick. Very light and getting the schematics is really easy. Can't go wrong with this reel. Just change the eva foam for fighting black paddles and you're set! ... show more
