She turned this on and four hours later, I came back in and couldn’t smell the cat or litter box. I bought another one for my room and a larger one for my main living room. This is an excellent value with the $10 off coupon ($40 total) in terms of single room air purifiers. Functionality is great, sound profiles are accurate to the levels and overall filtration is noticeable. Within ONE DAY there was a noticeable difference in air quality. Air pollution is real, and unfortunately it’s not getting better, for $40 it is a no brainer to protect your body/temple from undesirable pollutants. In comparison to other brands - this filter does a very good job of pulling in the air and filtering it at a smaller profile than others. Bonus points for being aesthetically good looking. For the price, you can't beat this air purifier. I find the air seems cleaner and more fresh. The sound is very low and actually helps me sleep better. I'm little disappointed to still find dust all over the nightstand it sits on in a small bedroom. It is not filtering larger particles? I purchased it hoping to address this dust issue so I'm back to square one looking for another solution. I find I need to dust at least twice a week and am frustrated as I suffer from allergies. Looking at the filter after a fee weeks, it's slightly light, light grey. So it's picking up some debris. I've used essential oils as advertised and wasn't impressed. Faded after a day. I will say putting the oils in the little compartment did not seem to make much of a difference but I tend to use a lot of fragrances in the house anyways. Purchased two, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. They are quiet and definitely pull a lot of pollutants from the air. I waited a bit to write a review to gauge how they were working. The one in the living room is definitely doing more work than the bedroom, which makes sense since that room gets more traffic. I’ve replaced the air filters in both. Nice and simple build that is sturdy, I feel like it does a good job although that can be subjective. I didn't think I would have any use for the scent tray but I actually enjoy occasionally putting some spearmint essential oil in there for an hour or so. I found the easiest way is to tear a square of toilet paper in half and then fold it to fit in there without falling out. that way you aren't stuck with the same scent in the felt puck and you can just flush the toilet paper when you're done with it. ... show more
