Be careful with Levi's belt reviews. They're all grouped together here and can look as if they are all reviews of the belt you're viewing, when they're actually about many different types. This review is for the Levi's belt style "Bridle Black." Belt itself is 1 1/2 inches wide and very thick. It's one piece of solid leather, not cardboard sandwiched between thin leather veneers and stitched together like some dress belts (and maybe other Levi's belts reviewed here). Buckle is heavy and looks just like the photo of this style. I wear 40-inch pants and ordered a 42-inch length. The belt fastens comfortably right in the middle of the holes, so room to tighten or loosen. Was reluctant to buy this because of reviews stating belt was cheap, thin and not solid leather. But I failed to look at the STYLE of Levi's belt the reviewer had bought, so it can be confusing. The "Levi's Men's Casual Leather Belt" in the style "Bridle Black" is a thick, one-piece, heavy work belt with a solid, well-made burnished-silver-colored buckle that looks just like the picture of this style. Should last for years of daily use. Five star product. UPDATE: Four months of daily wear and belt still looks new. It shows the expected indentations where belt makes contact with buckle, but the thing will likely outlast me.

Firm leather? Check! Normal not funky leather smell? Check! Sizing perfect following 2 up rule? Check! Oh last but not least overall belt quality excellent? DOUBLE CHECK! There you have it. I fell in love with the Levi's brand a while ago after wearing enough of their pants I finally realized this is a brand that takes pride in their products and produces higher quality products at that.

This belt is GARBAGE. This belt is two pieces of leather (a top and a bottom piece) glued together. Within 6 months the two pieces began to separate. I began using this belt to do yard work in as it was no longer suitable for normal daily use. I have now owned this belt for 1 full year and it has totally separated from itself. I absolutely love Levi's and own everything from jeans and shirts to jackets and wallets but this is the absolute worst belt I have ever owned.

I bought this to replace the same model, which had worn out after years of use. Delivered in early June. I was very happy with this belt, and used 3-4 days a week for 2 months. This would have been a 4 star review. But it's not. The belt fell apart after two months of use, and one month after the return date. When I tried to buckle up, the tongue fell to the floor. The part of the buckle that connects to the tongue had disintegrated/disappeared. Very disappointed.

Just got delivery of my second attempt at finding a genuine leather belt suitable for my 36" waist and 1911 OWB pistol holster. Second because I just returned one that was a disappointment - this one is what I wanted. I had purchased this same belt from Kohls some time ago (years) and have been very happy with it. It still is fine but I wanted another so I didn't have to switch it from my jeans to shorts this summer like I did last summer. Super pleased that Amazon had the exact same belt for a very reasonable price. The buckle is also very nice. This is indeed a high quality one piece leather belt which wears excellent. The pic is actually my old belt which looks fantastic after several years of continual duty. Same exact belt. There is a lot of 'noise' here in the reviews, so I hope my honest review helps those that are looking for quality genuine leather.

My first belt I got used from a friend at 19 years old. I'm 36 now. I use it everyday now at work. Been using it at work last 7 years. I've been through other home belts over the years but none have held up like it. I set out to find another belt like it but I figured it wasn't made anymore. Low and behold, I was wrong. Still made same belt! I bought the black one because thats what I wear the most and to make sure it was the right size. It was. Now I'm going to order the brown. The two of them should last me the rest of my life! Definitely a great buy!

This belt is wide enough to make a good fit with your blue jeans. It’s well constructed with quality materials. A word of caution. I have a 36 waist. The ordering advice suggested that you should order a belt two inches greater. This a tough choice when the sizes are listed as a range. I needed to select either 34-36 or 38-40. I picked the larger option. When the belt arrived, and I tried the fit, it was apparent that the better choice for me would have been the 34-36 size. The belt is still usable but there is a longer tail sticking through the buckle.

I just recently bought this in October and i read the reviews before buying it, let me tell you, this belt is really good, you ain't be disappointed, it feels great on your hand and it feels great on your pants, it holds my jeans in place and i don't think I've ever had a belt that has felt this well made and I've been to my local outlet store, this is by far one of their best.
