I’m 5’7, 135lbs, on a scale of Kim to Kendall butt, I have a Kourtney. And I got a size 28 (: *I did originally order a 27 and it was wearable but not at all breathable, 28 was perfect. Pros: The quality is great. They’re a true vintage high rise fit. They are loose enough to breathe and be comfortable which is perfect since there’s no stretchiness in them at all. They are great coverage, so even if you bend over your butt cheeks won’t show. Cons: So while they fit perfect around the waist and hips, the cut off at your legs is horrendous lol. In the last picture, the piece I’m holding was attached with strings that went over my thigh but it was so bad and even tighter than the actual shorts so I had to cut them out. The third and forth picture show what I mean, sitting down you will have biscuit can bulging thighs, period. Lol and they roll up when sitting down so it can get really uncomfortable quick…and as you can see the space on my waist and belly area even when I’m sitting so it’s not that the shorts are overall too small. When standing they aren’t tight around my thighs at all though. Also, in the third pic when I’m sitting, that poof that looks like my belly is actually space just more space in the shorts. Lol. The last two cons I have aren’t really cons that just are weird little things about the shorts that bug me but not enough to actually call them cons. So first one is the crinkle on the butt in the center area. I dont have a huge booty but I have a booty, if that makes sense, so it’s just a weird thing they do I guess. If you have a bigger butt you may not have that issue idk. The second thing is there’s 5 buttons. Which isn’t an issue expect the lowest one is LOW lol and it can be a booger to get them in the loops as some of the loops are not that big. So to sum it up, they’re great shorts for anything that doesn’t involve a lot of sitting.

You do need to measure your body as Levi is tried and true to its sizing. I was lucky enough to own a pair of Levi’s high waist jeans to know my sizing. They don’t waiver and are accurate with all of their sizing. These Jean shorts are adorable! They fit comfortably and perfect, help with flattening and flattering the stomach with the high waist. They’re also flattering on the back. If you’re able to measure they really are the PERFECT brand and will become your favorite go to! Levi’s are hands down my favorite jeans brand for 3 decades now and will always be my go to. They’re going to be so flattering. The rips on these shorts are not too crazy and appropriate for all ages! Get them BE SURE TO MEASURE and you’ll love them as well!

I got a size 29 in the medium Athens color. I will say they differ in sizes depending on the short. I also ordered the ojai light color, which was the most expensive and it was a lot baggier through the thigh. I kept the Athens cos it lifted my butt betterLove the waist cos it creates this u shape that makes me look thinner. Will be ordering more. Levi’s cut offs are a classic. I did the try before you buy so I ordered a bunch and only paid for the pair I kept. Order your true size, don’t listen to the reviews who said to size up, especially if you have a flatter belly and smaller waist. The 30 was HUGE. The 29 snug but it stretched out ! It became softer and looser with wear and now I need to shrink them. But a 28 would be too tight in the leg. These are my favorite item and I always get compliments. They became really comfortable with wear.

I feel like "cute/flattering but uncomfortable" is the tagline I could use for pretty much every pair of Levi's I've tried, minus the stretchier styles. To start, I got these in both a SIZE 32 and 33 in the color LUXOR HEAT. I'm anywhere between a size 8-12 with a 31" waist and 43" hips, give or take, but I always feel like I have to size up in Levi's. True to form, I would not have liked my true size 30 or 31 in these, so I'm glad I went up. I ended up keeping the size 32 (pictured), as the 33s were way too baggy. I could probably have done a 31 but I like having a little extra room for my thick thighs and big butt. Keep in mind these do have the button fly, like all the 501 styles do. I personally hate button flys, but I wanted to give them a shot anyway. These shorts are adorable on - I feel really cute when I wear them and my butt looks great. However, they are pretty uncomfortable. This jean material is what I'd consider a classic, sturdy fabric with almost zero stretch, though I will say the Levi's Premium fabric is softer than the Original. These do not conform to your curves much, though I'm sure wear will eventually soften the denim (or you can search for tricks to soften them, like I eventually did). If I'm walking around or standing, I don't really have complaints, but I would probably not wear these in a situation where I'll be sitting very much. On that note, if you have thicker thighs, these shorts feel like they're going to cut them off when you're sitting. I was a soccer player for a long time so have always had larger thighs, and this is one of the reasons I've never loved wearing short-shorts, because they cut into my thighs. The edge of the fabric just digs in while you're sitting, even with these cut off styles. I'd recommend these to someone who likes a stiffer denim and/or has skinny thighs, or someone who just doesn't care, but I find myself super self-conscious sitting in these, so I don't reach for them much. I kept them because there are situations I'd still wear them, plus I just needed shorts. I much prefer my Levi's Premium 501 Mid Thigh Shorts in the same size.
