I’m 5’5” & 138lbs. I wear a 28 consistently. I read reviews that these ran small, and decided to order up. I don’t actually love stretchy denim; so, it’s not what my sizing is based on. If you’re used to the stretch for your size, size up. BUT if you want a great fitting pair of true denim shorts, stay true to your size. I did keep the size 29, but they’re definitely a looser fit.

These shorts are super cute. I’m 5’5” and 145lbs. I’m consistently a 28 but sized up 2 and bought a 30. They fit perfectly but am scared they’ll shrink in the wash. Button fly. Great mid rise at my belly button. No stretch!!

I love a classic denim cutoff short and of course Levi's comes to mind. I'm 5'1", 36"-29"-39" and I bought a size 30 due to reviews saying these shrink in the wash. Overall fit is fine but the butt part is weird - like I have a little tail 😂 Maybe if I was better endowed in that area it might fill it in? Unsure. Will report back post laundry day too see if this shrinks.

Very cute but I had to go up TWO sizes. I usually wear a 6 or 8 and I had to return and exchange the first pair I ordered. They were so cute so I opt to get another size. Still waiting for the new ones to come in

I’m 5’6 155 lbs and wear an Abercrombie 28/29. I got the indigo style and sized up to a 30, but am going to reorder in a 29. I love these so much, but I shouldn’t have sized up. Due to them being slightly big, I was getting some weird dressing in the front, but I think that’ll resolve with the correct size. These are so cute, and you can’t beat the price!

I read that these shorts run small and to size up, so I did. They fit. Slightly snug, but they fit. I prefer a looser fit when it comes to shorts, particularly cut offs. So if you’re anything like me, I’d size up by 2 for this pair of shorts. There is no flexibity with the fabric, even wearing them all day they don’t lose their shape or stretch out. So depending on your preference I would take that into account when picking sizing.
