    • Itch-be-gone!
I have chronically dry skin - a problem only worsened when I moved to a place where the humidity is less than none. This combined with eczema and what I think is Grave's dermopathy means I'm always miserable and itchy. This lotion is amazing for reducing the desire to itch and leaving me feeling moisturized. It also doesn't leave my hands feeling as oily as a lot of lotions do (not to say it isn't at least a bit oily). It hasn't solved my skin issues, but it does make it so I don't scratch and my eczema has cleared a bit. It does smell like oatmeal, which isn't a surprise, but it isn't such a strong smell that I really mind it.     • Back no longer itches!
Very effective product! I have a chronically itchy back as well as slight eczema in other areas. I was constantly scratching, often at night without even being aware of it, leaving scratch marks and sometimes even cuts. Have tried using OTC cortisone cream as well as another brand of lotion which uses 1% colloidal oatmeal and is very greasy - neither provided relief. Saw that this product has 2% colloidal oatmeal which is the main ingredient to help reduce itchiness so decided to give it a try. Applied this on my back and other itchy areas once a day, and it has totally stopped the itch! Even the OTC cortisone cream did not work as well, and is far more expensive. I didn't have any experience with Gold Bond products, but this lotion has dramatically reduced the itching well beyond anything I've tried. ... show more

    • Great product, poorly packaged
This works great and I have it and I have it as an auto-ship item. My problem is the packaging. The pump stops working when 10 to 15 percent of the lotion is still left. Then it's like a bottle of ketchup and you have to try and get what's left by smacking it around a lot.

    • I've almost stopped using topical steroids
I've been using a number of different lotions for a while, especially the free and clear stuff and none of it got me to a place where I could almost stop prescription using topical steroids for flare ups on my face. Until I got this stuff. My eczema is doing so much better now. I was out of my normal stuff and was like "might as well try one of the other top rated products on Amazon and see how it goes." This one was decently priced and well reviewed so I got a bottle. Well it works really well. I've been using it for around a month and I've basically stopped applying my prescription steroids altogether. It's been a couple weeks now without them and my face is looking as good or better than when I was using them regularly. I just apply one pump of this stuff once or twice a day (morning and night usually) and I'm doing better than I have with my eczema in years. My only major critique is that it kinda leaves a film of this stuff on your face that you can kind of rub off almost like if you have excess dead skin on your forehead or something and that feels a little icky. But if you leave it alone it's not noticeable. I am assuming this is something like the oatmeal and I am also assuming this light "film" is part of why this stuff works so well to lock in moisture. So the tradeoff is worth it by a long shot. Highly recommend it for eczema sufferers. So far this has been a game changer for me. ... show more
