I love the length of these! They have some stretch in the waist so on days when your weight fluctuates or on day 2 or 3 of wearing them, I have found a belt is helpful. They are super comfy though. I got 2 pair and have considered buying enough to just have one for every day thru the summer. They even weirdly dry quickly?? I took them to Disney and got soaked on a rapids ride and within a couple hours was completely dry. A very unexpected thing given they’re jeans. I figured I would be wet the rest of the day!

(sorry for the blurry mirror) For reference I’m 5’4” 135lbs and a 31 year old mom. I ordered these first in size 4/27 (my normal Levi’s size) but they were too big. I re-ordered in size 2/26 and they fit perfectly. I am normally not a size 2/26 so they ran large on me. They are extremely flattering on my pear shape. NO gap in the back of the waist! I have a thick bottom half (and short legs) and I don’t like to wear short shorts. These fit really nice! Nice mid to high rise on them. You can see in my picture it comes to about my belly button. You don’t have to worry about bending over and showing plumbers butt. The dark wash is really nice and classy looking. The pocket placement is great. They are overall extremely flattering. A little bit of stretch, but not too much. Pictures taken when the shorts were new but they’ve been washed and worn since with no issues to the actual shorts. My only issue was with the denim wash. I did have to use a color catcher while washing. It still dyed one of my white hand towels light blue! Be careful of color transfer with the dark wash! The only thing I wish was the bottom leg holes of the shorts was a tiny bit smaller so it hugged my knees a little tighter. I’m just picky! The bottom is not sewn into place so you have to roll the shorts when you get them out of the dryer. They are really flattering on the backside and I definitely recommend them for pear shapes like me. I love not having to pull shorts down from riding up when I walk. That is why I like bike shorts and Bermuda shorts. If you have big thighs you know what I mean. I think curvy girls in particular will love these. The quality on mine is very good! I am definitely going to stock up and order a bunch for summer. I wish they had more colors in my size. Hopefully this review was helpful to someone out there!

These are the only shorts I can get that actually fit me perfectly. I have them in every color. They also make them so that if you don’t like the boyfriend look, you can let them out for a straight leg look. I prefer the staight leg look. It is the perfect length for me.

If you like a more structured, stiff denim, this may not be for you. These shorts have lots of stretch and run a little large. I usually wear 27 in Levi’s and these are 27, but they’re roomier. I like the length. I’m 5’3” and they hit right above my knee when they’re unrolled at the hem.

In this day and age, with the fabulous stretch denim, who wants the old kind that doesn't stretch at all? Not me for sure. I was very disappointed in these shorts. There is NO stretch in the waist at all. NONE. Who makes jeans or shorts anymore without stretch in the waist especially if the rest is stretchy? Dumb design for sure. I have several pair of Levi jeans and even some other shorts and they are stretchy in the waist, so why not these? Fix this issue please, then I will happily buy them. I got my normal size 10 and they fit just fine everywhere but that waist was a tad bit too tight and I want total comfort or I won't buy it.
