Features

  • True 1x With Zero Distortion: The Ronin delivers genuine 1x magnification with extra-low dispersion glass and fully multicoated lenses, so your sight picture stays sharp and color-true from edge to edge. Shoot both eyes open at close quarters for fast target transitions, then dial to 6x for precision at distance. A 3.5-inch eye relief keeps you comfortable through rapid follow-ups, whether you're running 3-gun stages, hunting, or tactical training drills
  • Built to Hold Zero: Skeptical a variable optic can survive real-world recoil? The Ronin is validated to 150 N·m of recoil energy, covering common centerfire rifle calibers with room to spare. Every unit goes through batch-level QC on a recoil-simulation rig before it ships. Nitrogen-purged, fully sealed construction makes it waterproof and fog-proof, so your zero stays locked whether you're shooting in rain, cold, or heat
  • Specs That Matter: 1 inch tube diameter fits standard rings on any Picatinny rail, giving you a wide selection of compatible mounts without adapters. Overall length is 9.7 inches and weight comes in at 11.4 oz without a mount, keeping this LPVO compact and balanced on a modern carbine. Capped turrets protect your zero from accidental adjustment between sessions; pair that with the low-profile build and you have a scope that stays out of the way until you need it
  • Daylight-Bright Illuminated BDC Reticle: The C5 BDC reticle gives you holdover hash marks for fast corrections from CQB distances out to 300+ yards without touching your turrets. Red illumination spans 11 brightness settings, from dawn and dusk to high-noon sunlight, so your aiming point stays visible in any lighting. The SFP design keeps the reticle clean and uncluttered at 1x, maintaining consistent size across the full magnification range
  • Lifetime Warranty - Zero Registration Required: Buy it on Amazon, mount it, shoot it. Your Ronin is covered for life from the moment it arrives, no paperwork, no serial number registration, no fine print. Straightforward lifetime coverage with no expiration date. Range shooters, hunters, and competitive shooters all get the same deal: full lifetime protection on a 1 inch-tube optic built to perform from day one through year 10

Description

What is a “true 1x”? A true 1x means the optic provides no visible magnification at its lowest setting, so the image appears the same size as the real world. This allows both-eyes-open shooting, natural depth perception, and fast target acquisition, similar to a red dot. Does this come with a mount or do I need to buy one separately? Yes. The Triton Ronin includes a precision-machined 6061-T6 aluminum offset cantilever mount, along with flip-up lens covers, a cleaning cloth, and a user manual. Everything you need to mount the optic and get started is included in the box. What calibers is this rated for? The Ronin is engineered to withstand recoil and field use across the full spectrum of commercially available sporting and duty calibers. Its shockproof internal construction and reinforced turret system are designed to hold zero under repeated use. Do I need to register my optic? Never! Just keep that order ID handy and if your Triton gear every fails, shoot us a message and we'll take care of you! Why Are You Only Selling On Amazon? • Excellent for the money!
Style: C2
Really impressed with this scope. It may not be expensive but it is not cheap. Solid. Excellent glass and very crisp. I have had very good experiences with Triton scopes and there night scopes. On a .300blk. Holds up just fine and their mount is solid too. Highly recommend. Been shooting 25 years and have many scopes on rifles that cost more than the firearm, but that isn’t always necessary. Not saying any Chinese scope is good. But these scopes deserve a serious consideration for any range gun or plinker. The turrets are solid with very positive clicks, not spongy with some slop. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good! I liked it enough that I bought 2.
Style: C5
I bought this to toss on a cheap rifle that I made for plinking, and wasn't expecting much. Wow, I was wrong. It's super clear, easy to use, the reticle is bright and clear when powered on even in daylight, and it fits in a pretty small package. I would hands down recommend this, especially after reading some of the other reviews about durability. After a 4 range trips and about 200 rds of 556, it has held zero well, adjusted easily initially, and looks great to boot. The fact that it comes with a cantilevered mount is another bonus for the price. My only complaint would be that the throw arm for the zoom adjustment isn't the easiest to grab if you adjust it a lot. I prefer a post style instead of the squared off lever style they've used, but that is a VERY minor complaint. I would absolutely recommend this if you're on the fence. I've bought two now, since I needed an optic for a 22 as well. ... show more

  • nice for the money
Style: C1
I love this little scope. Works perfect on a .300aac. Good clarity and seams well made. So far a few hundred rounds in and zero is still holding. Haven't shot out past 200 yards with it yet but it's probably more capable than I am anymore. At 50 and 100 sub 1.25 groups at 200 ringing 10"steel so no complaints on my end. Seems to be a great match for this shorter range round. Probably gonna grab another for a shorty in 223. ... show more

  • Good Value
Style: C5
I’ll say a couple of things before I review the Triton Ronin. I grew up on a farm and we hunted a lot. I got the biggest buck I ever shot ( 10 pointer) with a 30/30 Marlin from Sears and 3-9X 40mm Bushnell scope that cost about 58$ brand new . I rode with that rifle in my saddle every morning and that scope got banged around like nobody’s business and it just worked. Later in life , I treated myself to a Browning .308 and 400$ Leupold optic that would never hold “0”. In the Gulf and Africa, I operated with an M4 with a Trijicon optic and could not break it. My point is price isn’t always a good indicator of the quality of an optic. I bought this optic because I was building an AR for my son as a gift. I wanted to put some glass on it to get him started. But, nothing expensive as to give him the freedom to customize it to his preference later and still give him a solid working optic to start with. The Mount. One of the first things that stood out to me was the cantilever mount was very nice and a well machined mount that mated to the pic rail seamlessly. A good mount can cost over 300$. This one is very nice to be included with a 75$ scope. The mount alone makes the Ronin a deal even if the optic had been a throwaway. I would have preferred a lever release QD mount but again this is a 75$ scope. So, I don’t have much to gripe about here. The Glass. The glass is coated and very clear. Not quite Trijicon quality. However, certainly adequate and very surprising for the price point of the optic. This may seem weird to some of you but I always test my optics. It’s a habit some of us pick up because in the field your equipment working means life. I submerged the optic in a 5 gallon bucket of water for 20 minutes to check waterproof standards and put it in the freezer to test anti- fog qualities . It passed with flying colors. I like that the glass has an identifiable pip in the center of the sight picture that can be seen when the lighted reticle is off. Illumination is nice but in certain light conditions a nuisance because it overwhelms the BDC. I like that you can turn it off and the scope is still usable. Also, many of these inexpensive LPVO’s only work when the optic is turned on. I like one that is functional even when the battery is dead. Frame and other features. One of my pet peeves on a scope is turret adjustment. If you have to make an adjustment under stress, it is critical that the turret engage with a tactile click without being so stiff that you need a wrench to make it move. Turret movement on this optic is crisp and easy. The tube is made with aircraft grade aluminum and the optic is light. It is also a short optic which is nice because it minimizes snag potential. One complaint I have is the front flip up sight cover does not seat tight to the tube which made it come off every time the cap was flipped up. I took care of this problem with a simple strip of double sided water proof tape on the tube to help the cover adhere to the tube. The other small complaint is the 20 mm tube size makes the sight picture a bit small for old eyes but it's definitely serviceable. Triton makes a 24 mm reticle similar to this optic and I think it’s worth the extra few bucks for a bigger sight picture. If they made 30mm, it would be ideal. But, again this is a 75$ optic and there are always trade offs when you purchase a cheaper optic. Miscellaneous. For a long time, I turned away from Chinese manufactured products because build quality can be so hit or miss with them and they often are missing critical items for use of the products. This product came with the mount, flip up covers, 3 Allen Wrenches, 2 extra ring bolts, a multi wrench for the battery cover , an extra battery, and readable literature. The AR build was a 6.8mm Remington. So, there will be a little bit more recoil. We’ll have to see if that bothers this optic. I did run this on my 5.56 with 50 rounds and the optic was easy to sight and held “0”. However, you really don’t know reliability till you run 200+ rounds through the gun . As far as ruggedness, the jury is still out but the build quality of this optic seems more than adequate for hunting and range use. As far as those looking for mil spec quality, that’s something I can’t answer yet. I’ve seen high priced mil spec stuff that didn’t work right out of the box. However, I am impressed enough that I plan to buy one or two of these and squirrel them away before Triton raises the price. Because this is a very nice basic LPVO and should work and allow the beginner to intermediate enthusiast a solid optic at a very reasonable price point. So, I’m going to give this item a 4.5 out of 5 and say it’s worth your time. It’s not perfect. But, it’s certainly worth a look. Thumbs up to Triton for building an affordable optic with what seems to have the chops to give you years of trigger time. Thank you for your attention. ... show more

  • Budget quality
Style: C5
Nice solid budget optic. I'm not one of the "optic should cost the same as the rifle" kinda guys. And the fact is that the budget market is pretty in par with the expensive guys these days so why spend more? Clear glass, fast allocations, and seems to be holding up well. 2 thumbs up from me.

  • Great value, great LPVO.
Style: C1
Easy installation, reticle is great in daylight even without the battery power turned on, feels super high quality and is mounted extremely well, took about 15 rounds to get zeroed from 25m, and has held that zero on a carbine through 350 rounds thus far. This LPVO feels comparable in quality to the big names -- if you're in the market, check this guy out before spending $300 on a big name. ... show more

  • Reliable
Style: C5
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this but it exceeded my expectations in every which way. I zeroed the optic no problem at 200 yards, it held the zero, and I was able to consistently hit steel targets at 300 yards with it. The eye relief is perfect, the brightness is perfect, there is no blurriness even when using the zoom at 6x. I am not 100% sure I would trust my life with it yet, but I am extremely impressed with it so far! ... show more
