I bought the non-destructed dark wash hemmed style. They are a non stretchy material. I sized up so they would ride just below belly button and are a little looser in the waist for sitting. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The reviews don’t lie. These shorts will hurt your feelings. I buy Levi jeans regularly and I’m a 30-31… in these shorts I’m a 34. Ouch. Talk about bruised ego. BUT. Once you get the right size, and put them on… they look GOOD! They feel like they are actually shorter than they look… but somehow (at least on me) they look like that perfect length and just amazing. Like, it hurts others feelings how good they look! The one and only downfall (why I removed a star) is that if you’re curvy like me, the front of the legs are kinda tight when you sit (pic with my leg in the air to show) and since there’s no stretch at all that can be uncomfortable after long periods while sitting because it kind of puts pressure in the crotch area. The only other thing that can be good or bad, depending on what you’re looking for is these shorts stay very rigid for multiple washes. My first pair still haven’t fully relaxed yet. ... show more

It fits true to size, I’m 5’1, 126 lbs and I ordered these on a 27, it’s so comfy, the color is perfect! And it doesn’t really shrink in the dryer so it’s even more perfect, it fits up to my waist but it also doesn’t let my bootycheeks show which is amazing because in jeans shorts for me that’s a bit rare.. would absolutely recommend, there so durable, and the material is perfect ... show more

Ugh, ordered a 27, instead of 26 because reviews said to size up. Wish i didn’t. Go with your measurements, and their size guide. Fit would have been fine with my actual size. also, these aren’t zip, they’re all button which i didn’t know. Hate that. And not as cute in person. Might return, especially because i’m in the middle of losing weight, these will fall off by the end of next month. am not pulling very hard at all to show the gaps. i’m 5’4 140 lbs, 36.5 hip 28 waist. I wear small pants medium/ l tops. i have one pair of shorts right now from another brand that are 26’s and they fit. Go with the product size guide !!! Give five stars because they are well made and exactly as pictured. I am 5’10 and weigh 120 pounds, usually a 25 but ordered a 26 and they fit good cold comfortably with a little bagginess which is how I prefer my denim shorts to fit.
