These ran small to me. I have a big butt and thighs. If you had a slim figure, they would probable fit true to size for you. I have regular 100% cotton 501 jeans, and they fit me snug, but still fit. It could be because you can hike up jeans to get to the small part of your waist, but you cannot hike up shorts, for obvious reasons. So I would have to size up in these to be able to wear them out. I’ll keep them because they were so inexpensive and try wearing them around the house to try and stretch them out some, if they don’t, I’ll give them to a friend. Also, they are real Levi’s, I saw reviews saying they weren’t. They are just the regular Levi’s, not the premium line, so dont have the thick leather label on the back, they have the thin one with red letters. They aren’t the “signature” ones they sell at Walmart though. They are good quality shorts, just need to make sure you are taking into account they are 100% cotton so won’t stretch. So if Levi’s stretchy jeans are snug on you, these probably won’t fit unless you size up

For the past 2 summers I have searched high and low for a pair of distressed shorts. I have ordered countless pairs from multiple brand names only to return them because they're too big, or they don't fit right. I gave up thinking I just wasn't meant for these kinds of shorts. I happened to come across these in a search and thought wth, they're 20 bucks, what do I have to lose?... well let me tell you I lost nothing and gained an incredible pair of shorts. These are seriously the Holy grail I've been searching for! I noticed some reviews saying these are fake- the shorts I recieved have a leather patch and the red tag says Levi's, so from everything I've been able to verify, they're legit. Though I do believe Amazon is an "aftermarket" of sorts (a place for companies to sell products that weren't quite right off the assembly line, or returns, or last year's styles, etc.), Levi's marks their products with "irregular" when they aren't right, and these aren't marked, so it might just be overstock or items they need to get rid of. Even if these are fake tho, I don't care. They fit me. Like a glove. And that's all I wanted. As far as sizing... Levi's tends to run big. I purchased a pair of straight leg 501 jeans earlier this year, in my usual size (26), and they were entirely too big. I got these shorts in a size 25 and they fit perfectly. I hover between a 25 & 26 depending on the brand. I got the style 'Sansome Straggler'. They're high waisted, button up, and are 100% cotton so there's little to no stretch whatsoever. I love 100% cotton clothing (cotton used to be queen before we moved to synthetic materials), so I'm not mad at it, but if you're wanting some stretch you might look for a pair that has viscose or elastane in the mix. I encourage everyone to give 100% cotton a try tho (even with your sheets). I actually bought another pair of these in white yesterday, then came back today to get another pair of the "stragglers" just to have as back ups. Y'all, for real, grab these! For reference I'm 5'1, 112 lbs, 34B (33, 26, 38), usual sizes XS-S, 25-26. Hope this helps!! The product is exactly as described and came in the time stated (1 day).

I wanted to love these but they were not exactly what I expected. I ordered a 28 and I typically am a 27. I wanted to make sure they were not too tight...I guess I needed a size or two up as it was pretty tight and rolled on my thighs. I had the trip the next day so didn't return them for a new size. Not as long as I expected either. I also don't have big thighs to begin with so was sorta surprised them rolled up. SIZE UP I personally would next time go with a 29.

I purchased these through an Influencer recommendation and I have been really happy with them. I tend not to buy shorts because they usually are not flattering on me but these surprisingly were. They fit just right and the high rise was just enough to remain stylish without being too dramatic. I have worn them and washed them several times and they remain in the same condition I purchased them in. Great for the summer or a beach vacation. If you tend to avoid shorts, I recommend that you give these a try because you might be pleasantly surprised, like I was.

Fits nice and tight when standing but a little too tight when sitting lol. The waistband hugs my midsection so tight that my belly hangs over when I sit but I love how they look on me. The perfect pair of light wash vintage-style shorts I didn’t know I needed. Oddly, the package came with the return info from the previous purchaser.
