These are exactly what I was looking for. Had a pair that were bought locally a few years back, but they had started to fall part (yes, it expected) and it was hard to find them again. These are cotton ripstop (no high-tech fancy fabric that gets noppy with use) and they will wear nicely over the coming summers. They will not last forever, but they will wash HOT, they will 'age' gracefully (think old pair of jeans that only fits better and loses a bit of their color with time as they are washed over and over and over again). And most important, they fit me perfectly (size 30W). I would say they are true to size, as I wear 30W in jeans and most pants. Might actually pick up a second pair before these are 'going away' (wish I would have done that with a pair of TNF shorts in the early 2000, very sturdy TekWare tech fabric that is no longer available).

Two things you should know about these Levi's cargo shorts. While they are a great fit, you should order one size smaller than you normally wear. I usually wear a size 36 however, a size 34 fits perfectly. The zipper is not up to the Levi's standard. It is both small and cheaply made. I was not expecting a zipper that you find on a winter coat, but neither was I expecting something this small and cheap.

These short are very comfortable, lightweight and true to sit. BUT, the zipper is also lightweight and the tab is vert small and has a tendency, when down, to fall into the small "pocket" at the lower end of the fly opening. Takes some effort to release it to zip up the fly

They are just a nice comfortable fitting Cargo Short. Enough fit for air flow and no movement restriction. I am a little concerned with the zipper, as it seems to be of a lesser quality and I'm not sure how it is going to hold up over time. Seems a little flimsy,

These used to be perfect, but recently they've removed one of the snap fasteners on the cargo pocket so now there are only two. I hate when companies try to save a few cents by cheapening their products.
