Description

The Level Six Puffer baby flotation vest lets you rest easy knowing your little one is safe in and on the water. The Puffer jacket will effortlessly float your little swimmer onto their back. Designed for babies from 9 to 25 pounds (4 to 9 kilograms), this jacket has a unique double strap system to make it easy to adjust to a custom fit. There's even an extra buckle at the lower bottom to make diaper changes easier without removing the baby from the vest. The design ensures that baby turns face-up from a face-forward position, while the collar cradles the head while floating. Soft neoprene material is used on the back and head panels to provide ultimate comfort next to bare skin. Note: This vest is not USCG or Transport Canada approved since there is currently no testing standard to certify PFD's for children under 9kg. Designed for babies 9 to 25 pounds (chest size approximately 12 to 18 inches around). Adjustable neoprene and webbing harness system for security and comfort. Low-profile neoprene back and nylon inner lining are comfortable when baby lies down on a blanket or rides in a baby seat. Continuous strap design: the adjustable shoulder straps are connected to the adjustable crotch strap so you can get the fit that's most comfortable for your baby (no more squished face from a too-bulky vest!) Two quick-release shoulder buckles, plus a quick- release buckle on the crotch strap that tucks away inside the vest lining. Short front for enhanced comfort while in the sitting position. It’s very adjustable so it fit his little body. We were able to keep him afloat while swimming. This was super easy to breastfeed him as well. This is exactly what we were looking for! The other standard style jackets squished my son’s face and were obviously uncomfortably big for him. This fit him perfectly and he was happy to play in it and be carried around. I can see him falling asleep in it just fine as the neck cushion acts as a nice pillow, and breast feeding won’t be a problem. The picture attached shows my son sitting up and the life jacket still has some neck room. He can also be picked up by the handle without it choking him. His torso is 13-1/2” long from shoulder to crotch for reference. We did a float test in the tub and he does float, however the water did creep up above his ears. It’s great for a quick recovery type situation but not a good worst case scenario life jacket. ... show more

My petite 4 month old didn’t fuss at all when we put this on her. The padded neck/head being flexible and flat bit on her back made a little pillow for her head when she was laying down. I wore her in my artipoppe carrier, with the life jacket on and she was happy as a clam, napped in it for 2 hours on the boat. Super easy to get on and off and I was able to adjust the straps one handed. Great quality on the stitching and fabric super vibrant. This vest seems very well made and it actually fits my baby who is 10 months old but only 8% height. She is really short and other vests were too long for her. Because this one has straps and not a zipper, it adjusts very easily to fit most sizes. The only reason for 4 stars is that I think the front part is just a bit too large for her. I'm sure the size is for safety reasons and to ensure it does its job and floats! But she can't sit up when wearing it... it seems like it's definitely meant for her to be laying down or back floating in the water. ... show more

If you have a baby that hates wearing a life jacket I highly suggest this life jacket! My 8 month old could care less having it on. And I am still nursing and it was so easy to nurse her in the boat with the life jacket still on. Will never use another life jacket again for babies!

I don't think we are the only ones who wish this came in adult sizes. Our little man has enjoyed dozens of trips to the water and we are satisfied with the quality and design of this vest. The straps are great when handing him off from the lake to the boat safely and the way the vest is designed, he floats face up. My only concern was when he was on the lower spectrum of weight requirement, if the water became a little choppy, it put him at risk for ear infections. ... show more
