  • Fantastic litRPG!
Format: Paperback
Great start to the series! The premise is interesting and unique and the characters are memorable. I look forward to seeing where the story goes!

  • A delightful gem
Format: Paperback
I may be late to the party but this was my first read into the "LITRPG" genre. I did read this online before it was in book form and enjoyed it so much that I preordered this and the 2nd book. I am not surprised by what I have read. This is an excellent book that I actively recommend to friends with like tastes. I believe the author does a great job of opening the world one bit at a time and not overwhelming the reader. The main character is complex and has conflicting emotions about actions but is a good character that sometimes does what needs to be done to protect his friends. At the time I am writing this I have just finished book two of the series and will be absolutely order the rest of the series as it arrives. Not enough good things to say. An easy 5 star review! Thank you for your wonderful world building! ... show more

  • An interesting start
Format: Paperback
Really interesting premise to this book. I'm not entirely sure where the series is going but it's off to a fun start. The protagonist is realistic (for a fantasy series), human and fun. I'm looking forward to the continuation of the series.

  • fantastic!
Format: Kindle
Great and relatable MC. Fun fight scenes, great world building, and lovely story line. I can’t recommend this book enough! Sentient pet rock named Pebble?! Yes please! Joined the Patreon as I just couldn’t get enough!

  • Delightful all around
Format: Kindle
The protagonist is pretty compelling in this one, he has a strong internal voice that's fun to read, so it feels justified that he made it to godhood in his last life. The System used in this LitRPG is pretty flexible and allows for unique interactions that I haven't seen elsewhere, and the protagonist's abilities are fun! And the pacing is solid, with fun fights, interesting loot, and a good cast to bounce dialog off of. I didn't get bored, and neither will you! ... show more

  • Good start to an amazing series
Format: Kindle
Pre read early access copy before it released on amazing. I've read through book 3 currently and it's shaping up to be a fantastic series. If you're a fan of fantasy/lit rpgs I think you'll love this series. Very well written. Great world building and skills system. Excited for more

  • The Title Is A Bit … Inaccurate.
Format: Kindle
One might call this novel's title inaccurate, but misleading might be closer to true. Nevertheless, this novel is a engrossing read. The main character, Brynn, is likable, complex, and mysterious in turns. There is a great mysterious threat which has frightened nine beings of deific power sufficiently enough that eight have chosen to cast aside their power and start life again in an attempt to grow more powerful than they had in their previous lives. Brynn's attempt does not appear to be going well. ... show more

  • Interesting
Format: Kindle
Interesting hook, but writing style is not for me. Similar vibe to Dungeon Crawler Carl with a light humorous MC.
