  • Made in the USA! Top quality, and priced fairly.
Excellent quality scope, glass is crystal clear. I own several scopes ranging from $700-1800. I own SWFA, Vortex, Trijicon, Etc. This scope is as clear and bright as any of them. Extremely well made, very light weight, and best of all, to my knowledge Leupold is the only manufacturer still making their scopes right here in the good ol’ United States of America! I have purchased 2 of these so far, one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. I am looking at buying another in a couple months for another rifle build. To be honest, after seeing how nice the glass is on this Leupold I am seriously considering selling all my Vortex scopes and putting Leupold on all my rifles as I’m a huge proponent of Made in USA goods. People don’t realize how important it is that we keep our manufacturing infrastructure in country. ***Update 1/4/20*** I liked the first one on my Marlin 39d so well that I had a local gun store order me a second one for my Ruger 10/22 that my wife bought me for Christmas (like Jesus said, love your wife fellas and she will love and respect you back) Anyways, the second one is another home run. These were my first 2 Leupold scopes but now I am strongly considering selling all my other optics and replacing them with Leupold, the glass is really that good. I’m super impressed with them if you can’t tell ;) Also, for reference I have the Weaver scope base on the Marlin and the factory Ruger base on the 10/22. Both rifles are wearing Weaver low steel rings. (The made in USA ones) The rings are only about $25 and can be found on amazon. Very high quality and again, American made! They fit over the iron sights very well. My sling came from a small mom and pop shop on Etsy and I made the aluminum trigger for the 10/22 on my CNC mill. Those can be found on eBay for about $20. ... show more

  • Great scope
This is just a classic scope. Small, light, great glass. Large field of view and easy to zoom in. Perfect for a woods gun. I have one on a cz 455 in .17 HMR and a Henry .22 Wmr.

  • Fantastic Rimfire Scope
The scope is accurate and easy to dial in. I was sub moa at 50 yards and moa or better at 100 yards in no time at all.

  • Quality Seems Good
The quality is good for this price point. I have other more high-end Leupold scopes that seem better but this one is OK for the price. The reticle is nice and glass is clear. I would have preferred MRAD to MOA but that's a very small complaint.

  • Leupold quality at a fair price
I really like this scope. Its solid with very clear glass and it is very lightweight compared to other scopes in this class. The zoom magnification is a bit stiff but I assume that will loosen up with use. Feels fantastic on my 10/22. Does not come with lens caps, which is a bummer. Unless you want to spend half the cost of this scope on Leupold brand caps then I suggest Butler Creek size 11 flip caps (1.55 inches, 39.4mm) which fit perfectly for 8x less. No scope rings either but that is to be expected. ... show more

  • Great scope. Looks and functions extremely well on rimfire rifle
It’s a Leopold so you know it’s good. Purchased to put on my Grandsons rimfire rifle. Just the right size. Just the right variable powers. As his Dad said upon first looking through it - “Nice clear scope and great reticle.” Very pleased.

  • Very poor quality
I was in the market for a rimfire scope for a Remington 5mm. Although I own several scoped rifles, I have never owned a Leupold scope. Figuring that the Leupold brand is very popular, I decided to give it a try. Right from the box I was disappointed. Very cheap feel and looks like it belongs on a pellet gun. I went a head and mounted it to the rifle and headed to the range. The reticle had a defect on the vertical line and the upper turret had so much play in it that I could not tell if it clicked for an adjustment. Once I did get it zeroed, it would not hold zero. I realize this is an inexpensive scope and that Leupold must be trying to compete with other entry level scope makers, but I will gladly pay more money for a quality product. I ended up returning it and purchased a Nikon P5 for about 100.00 more than this one and am very happy with it. Big miss for Leupold, literally and figuratively. ... show more

  • Clear glass, good quality build
Leupold says to use the 59035 flip-back lens cover for the objective end of the scope and their 59055 flip-back lens cover for the eyepiece end of the scope. Looks great!
