adding this to my 450.bushmaster was pretty confusing to zero at first but caught on quickly the ir illuminator isn't the strongest, but you can see pretty well at 100 yards in pitch black. this thing really shines around 50 to 75 yards and in Texas with a short shooting lane is good enough for me. I did use this on my 22 to varmint hunt at night and it performed well it's not a 1000$ scope with crazy amazing quality but it did last in 7 degrees and rain with no problems. the recording was good, but the crosshair isn't center with the screen during the recording. if you're on a budget buy it and try it. you can always return it. I can't wait to harvest some hogs this spring to fill the freezer and use it during the day during deer season to record my hunts. also, last thing make sure to adjust the brightness and exposure to your personal liking before using it out in the field it makes a huge difference and helps with visibility and eye strain at night due to the bright picture it displays in full darkness.

This is my third scope I have had no issues out of the other two this one I just ordered is freezing after every shot and shutting down the others I have used are great a little bright on the shooters eye but works well and worth the money for the price point of atn 4k u could run 3 of these on three platforms The company fully replaced my unit thank you awesome customer support Over all love the look and the style and design Please make a smaller reticle in the future

Its a good bargain, but returned it as after cataract surgery user must wear reading glasses when hunting with this scope to see crosshair screen and image.

This scope is awesome! Clarity is great, battery life seems to be good. Super easy to use when you read the instructions, functions well during the day and at night. The value is crazy good to get a night vision scope for this reasonable of a price

Glad they have reticle in video and images now. I have the NV-101 and NV-100. The image quality is great as always. The scope is well-made and feels very durable. I love the different reticle options and the adjustable focus makes it easy to get a sharp image. I am glad the company made updates after feedback. I updated my NV-101 as well to have the same reticles and features. Now if they can update the NV-100 to have a reticle while recording, that would be great.

The scope works if you require reading glasses, as long as you are wearing the reading glasses. Otherwise it's just a blurry screen. The night vision is excellent, I bought it for shooting rats in the dark and I definitely can see them in pitch black. I haven't figured out how to sight it in, probably because I haven't tried to look into how to do it. Out of the box I haven't been able to hit anything I've pointed it at and I'm only shooting from 20 feet away. I assume my fault though. Biggest issue I have is that I'm just using it with a 22 calibre spring rifle/pellet gun and the jolt from firing makes it shut off every time I fire it. Can't imagine this working very reliably on an actual rifle.

I don’t normally write reviews but WOW, this product is amazing. I have a beaver problem at my land I had let go for years and with the recent flooding I had to do something about it. With my normal scope around dusk when they come out I can’t see. With this scope I buried 3/3 of them in one night. They had no idea I was there. You can follow the ripples in the water with the scope and their eyes illuminate in the IR. The recording function is a bonus and the rechargeable batteries. Awesome product for the price
