As always, Let’s Resin molds are top-notch quality and make beautiful resin products once hardened. The apple mold is flexible but strong. It takes a little over 8.5 oz of resin total for the base and the lid, and the stem can be done using UV resin with some glitter or other colors to keep it separate. Be sure to squeeze the bottoms of the lid edge and the apple base after pouring a little resin in to remove hidden bubbles. It was easy to de-mold and the resulting apple jar can function as a little gift box, jewelry box, or anything else that you want. It is definitely worth the price as the final product looks great and the lid fits perfectly. Once done,it’s easily cleaned up with a baby wipe and ready for the next apple. Great addition to the mold collection for any resin artisan, whether experienced or novice.

Absolutely LOVE this mold, it looks so pretty especially when the lid is put on. Only drawback was the first time it was used the bottom part had a dent in it. I realized after I made it that it had been warped during transport. The first time it is used it needs to have water placed in, frozen and demolded. After that the mold worked well.

The silicon is a bit thin and feels flimsy so it's a little annoying to move when it's filled. It's a really nice mold and even though it's thin I've made quite a few apples and it hasn't torn or anything! The top is pretty easy to remove from the mold but the bottom part is VERY annoying at times. I do get a few bubbles but normally they are somewhat small and few and mainly at the bottom of the jar. Perfect if you want to make teachers a gift!

I bought this mold to make teacher gifts. There is a learning curve to using this mold, but once you get it down the results are very beautiful.

This is one of my favorite molds. The apple is huge and looks beautiful with or without the cover on. It is east to mold in resin but you will need to support the interior portion of the mold with cardboard to use with Eco-Crete or similar product. If not, the apple becomes distorted due to the weight of the Eco-Crete and the lid doesn’t fit properly. I have been adding glitter from Lrisy to mine and they look amazing. Based on how many times I have used this mold, it is a true value for the money.
