    • The Missing Muffler!
Excellent product! I originally bought 2 mufflers from Tectruc and only received one. I had issues with Amazon. UPS and Tectruc. Tectruc said he would send another one. That never happened, So I bought a Flowmaster muffler from this vendor so I could finish my exhaust job on my Jeep CJ 5. Tectruc muffler were 40.00 bucks a piece and I spent 61.00 to this vendor for a Flowmaster. Both mufflers were the same except the muffler from Tectruc didn't have the Flowmaster name stamped on it. Both products from China of course. The Flowmaster muffler arrived way before the delivery date. I should have bought the Flowmaster form the beginning. Least I got what I paid for.     • Pretty good Muffler
I was after a bit more sound from my 2003 5.3L Tahoe when I purchased the FlowFX. After having this muffler on my truck for several months now I can say it's definitely louder but it wasn't quite the sound I was looking for. There's nothing wrong with it and this is actually a really nice sounding muffler if you're looking for a really smooth sounding exhaust. I would say this is mellower (if that's even a word) then most of the magnaflows I have heard. That being said the flowFX does sound fuller imo then other Flowmaster mufflers out there. Much less tin can sounding and more like a Magnaflow. I personally like my exhaust to have a little more of a throaty sound to it and this was just too bass heavy for me. The biggest down side by far is the presents of drone. After reading some reviews on here, there's a handful of people claiming that the drone isn't bad or is very tolerable but to each their own. I would say this is a solid 6/10 on the drone scale. It's not the worst drone I have heard but it's enough to bother the family on road trips. For this reason I will be removing it from the Tahoe and am going to replace it with something else. I don't fault the muffler for this at all as it's not really claiming to be drone free. The construction of the muffler is good and looks to be high quality. If you don't care about drone and are looking for a smooth and mellow sounding muffler this will do. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love the way it sounds, i had a hard time picking what muffler i wanted based on youtube videos and word of mouth, as i couldn't fully appreciate what different ones sounded like. But i am very satisfied that i chose the FlowFX, it sounds great, looks decent, and is great for the price. It actually made my truck get slightly better fuel mileage compared to the stock muffler, so i can assume it helped engine performance. It was a littler shorter than the stock muffler, but i also had a Y-pipe so it fit perfectly for my application. (Please ignore my shoddy welds lol, i used a flux core welder) I put this on my 03 Silverado 1500HD with the 6.0L LS, Stock. ... show more

    • Minimal drone with good throttle sound
This muffler woke up my 2006 Land Cruiser that has a V8 in it. Makes the truck sound great without being overpowering. If you want to have a good sounding muffler without the serious loud drone at highway speeds, this is a good option. Price is right as well!

    • Super deep throathy sound
Replaced a Pypes M80 bottle muffler with this one. The M80 had a raspy annoying crackling sound a certain RPM's and very loud This FX eliminated all that with much more throaty and substantial reduction in loudness. It is possible for big Hot Rod followers maybe to quiet but, enough volume for me. I have high lift cams in a 4.6L Mustang and at idle it is a dream, 60's muscle car sound once again.
