This is a gift for my son who recently acquired a large, vintage KLH hifi turntable/receiver, but he had no place to put it. I was attracted instantly to the vintage/retro styling of this table, and the walnut color is a perfect match for his turntable. He assembled it in about 40 minutes and reported no issues to me with that process. The turntable looks great on this table and it blends in nicely with the rest of his vintage furniture. It's a heavy turntable but the table is quite stout and it does not wobble. He likes the built in vertical shelves for LP's: there's enough room for a large selection of his favorites. It may not be solid hardwood, but for pressed fiberboard, the finish is actually very attractive and the "quality" of the fiberboard is pretty impressive. The piece is quite attractive, at least to my eye and for how it fits in with our décor and matches nicely with my vintage Advents. Some folks comment they wish it were taller, but I find the dimensions just about right for my space. Assembly was relatively straightforward. All the hardware was accurately marked and the quantities were as indicated--actually each piece includes and extra, which came in handy as I stripped one of the wood screws. I stripped it while unscrewing it because I stupidly installed the legs and separators upside down the first time--my own fault because I failed to notice which way the slot for the back was oriented and I had to undo and redo it so that the top would line up correctly. All in all took me about an hour. I can honestly recommend this piece--it is good-looking if you like the mid-century vibe, it is definitely sturdy and it stores my small record collection easily with plenty of room for more--capacity is probably around 120? ... show more

Was fairly easy to put together. Wood is fairly substantial, when fully assembled it’s a good weight. It does only hold around 60 of my records jammed in. Wish it was a tiny bit bigger however it is a nice storage solution and would work if you had a record collection that was smaller.

I absolutely love this record stand! It really brings the vibe of my living space together!! Some of the pre drilled holes were a little off and it was hard to use the provided tools to put together in some spots, so I recommend when putting together that you have a screwdriver or drill to save you a little time/frustration!! OK record player stand but 4/4 screw holes for the legs are not located in the correct configuration. I ended up only using one screw to affix each leg to the base, which will suffice, but is NOT safe. The drawings for assembly are very poor. When attaching pieces F and two Es to the bottom, there is no detail in the drawing to indicate in which direction the larger holes have to face. Of course I chose the incorrect direction, attached all 3 pieces-usong 6 screws- then had to take them off and switch them around. I should have read several pages ahead because on the step where you attach the top, it is clearly marked to show the large holes in pieces F and the two Es. I am seriously the MASTER at putting together furniture like this. It should have taken me 10-15 minutes tops. Due to the incorrect hole configuration I had to go find my drill and drilled the holes farther apart on the 4 leg pieces labeled H it took me about an hour to assemble this very simple piece. After modifying the screw holes in the legs I was able to screw them on, only to notice that because of the hole configuration on the bottom, 3 of the legs were angled one direction and the 4th was angled in a different direction. (Steaming mad by this point AND I broke a drill bit). That is when I realized I was going to have to use 1 screw for each leg instead of two. So once again, unscrewing to correct the manufacturer's hole configuration error. I would say they need to teach their machine operators how to read prints and make adjustments and offsets when running the parts. For the price, this is an OK record player stand. They give you one extra piece of hardware for each step in assembly, so that is good. They also include several Allen wrenches to tighten the screws--also a positive. But because the holes are so jacked up and the assembly directions do not show accurate detail, I would say unless you have assembled a lot of this kind of furniture, you might want to purchase something that is better quality. Perfect platform for my music room, setting up with turntable and has plenty of room for albums. Supplier correct issue with first shipment and was a pleasure to work with. Super easy to assemble only advise i would give is glue your joints when assembling make it that much stronger.
