I’ve spent more time dealing with and learning about thrush than I care to admit. This powder product makes the most sense to use to help gently clear out this super pesky bug. For deep cracks, I gently use the side NOT THE POINT of my hoof pick to pack in, or if the horse is sensitive to that I use a non caustic liquid product to flush that part and sprinkle this around the rest of the foot. I also used this on scratches and they went away within a week, mild case though only 4-5 abrasions smaller than a dime. It’s non caustic and my sensitive OTTB shows zero signs of discomfort with this. It actually works, too. I use it 2-3x a week until the central crack has grown out which may take a month+. Don’t need to use a ton of product, and it’s more environmentally friendly than other product options. and clean environment. I also packed it some small hoof wall separation and that grew out evenly in the same time frame. I like that this seems to improve the integrity of the hoof and doesn’t become a crutch—don’t need to retreat or constantly treat— means it actually works and supports hoof health. Don’t need to use a ton of product, and it’s more environmentally friendly than other product options. However, I wish it was a little more economical for full barn use (bulk sizing). It’s a little annoying to keep buying smaller bottles, I’d rather refill from a large bag to the small applicator bottle.

This power is by far the best stuff I have found for my horses feet since we get so much rain. Is a great product for sulcus thrush, as well. My farrier highly recommended it.

I have a horse with VERY deep sulcus cracks and chronic thrush. Nothing has worked up to this point. Switched to this product about a week and a half ago, what a difference! His sensitivity is gone, his heels are much harder (not soft and painful anymore), I can dig around in his cracks to clean them out without having to fight with him... HIGHLY recommend this for chronic thrush and sensitive horses. Plus, my farrier read the bottle and gave it two thumbs up!

We first used it in horses hooves to treat thrush. Easy to sprinkle in cracks and get up into splits in the hoof wall and the frog. Liked it so much, I looked it up. Their website suggested it was helpful in ear mites for cats. We tried it and like it. A great product.

No Thrush is the best product for thrush and rain rot. It is a powder but sticks to the frog and crevasses well. You can even apply to skin without irritating it. It leaves no stain like some of the other thrush treatments.
