  • Works decent during the day/bright lighting, not very good for use in low light.
Color: PC Material
I've been using this off-brand lens protector for about 2 weeks now since DJI hasn't had them in stock. DJI wasn't really selling the Osmo 360 and the accessories in the US until maybe a few days ago on Amazon (early September). I wanted to protect the lenses while riding my motorcycle and these were available with quick enough shipping. Good: - It does protect your lens. - Minimal image quality loss during the day or bright light. - Can fit with the included Osmo 360 pouch. Bad: - Causes some bad "jelly/jittery sky" effects in SuperNight mode/low light. I've recorded with them off and on and it only does this effect at night with the protectors on. - Annoying to put on, you really need to find the latches as the bottom one is small - This isn't really this brand's fault but rather DJI for making non-intuitive mounting solution. - Price is a bit higher than the DJI versions. Neutral: - These can cause are some stitching and artifact issues but I found that issue with all 360 cameras I own with protectors. - There is lens flares but depending on what you want to go for, it can be a stylistic thing. - There is a reflection of the lens when you are facing a bright light source. I don't mind it as much since it is protecting the lens but it can be an annoyance to others. I am not sure how long these will last or if they will discolor since these are of made of polycarbonate plastic but overall, until DJI can get their own versions in stock (at least in the US) these will do for now when recording in good lighting conditions. ... show more

  • They Work, But Difficult to Install
Color: PC Material
I had ordered another set of lens protectors for my Osmo 360 from a different seller, and I had a couple of issues with them, so I decided to order a different set from another seller, and yet another set from this seller. Although bearing different brand names, these lens guards are identical to the other two sets that I had ordered--flaws and all (apparently the same factory produces these guards under a variety of different brand names)--so I repeat my review of those lens guards here, as it equally applies to these guards. One of the big criticisms of the newly-released Osmo 360 is the inability to replace scratched or broken lenses without sending it back to the manufacturer (which I think is unfounded, as for years, Insta 360 didn't have replaceable lenses until the most recent release). Because the lenses on 360 cameras are bulbous, they are more prone to damage. One way to account for this is to use lens guards on the Osmo 360 like these from the Sruim store. In the box, you get two lens guards, one for each lens, and two sets of disposable alcohol wipes and cleaning pads. While they work and don't appear to affect the optical quality of the lenses (other than altering lens flairs a bit), there are two issues I have with them. First, they don't come with instructions. You may be asking yourself why a set of lens guards would need instructions--the answer is that figuring out how to put them on is less than intuitive. In fact, I was about to chuck them away and write a one-star review, until I scrolled down in the listing and found this video https://www.amazon.com/vdp/0c4b839771b144c98982e17f558c9667?product=B0FLD793SB&ref=cm_sw_cp_r_ib_dt_zi6wPkxZRdMMP You'll see that even they have trouble attaching them in the video, but after watching the video and looking at an inscrutable pictogram in the listing, I was able to attach them after several tries. The second issue is that, once the lens guards are attached, the silicone protective sleeve no longer fits--you can get it on, but the lens guards stick out so far that they end up somewhat exposed after putting on the silicone cover (see the attached photos). In all, I feel better having them on, and I can live with the silicone sleeve issue, but I wish they were a little better thought out. The price to quality ratio for these lens guards is very good. ... show more
