This is a very nice dinnerware set. Whenever I hear my wife say something is cute, I will often buy it and sometimes it may not be the best product. Yet when she said these were SOOO Cute (and I had to agree but don't tell her) I ordered them for Christmas. She saw them after they were delivered which saved me from having to wrap them. They were packaged well, and I mean they were in a box, that was in a box, that was even in another box, so everything stayed intact and protected. I can’t speak to their durability since we just received them yet they feel sturdy and are so nice we've already purchased additional pieces and another set to give as a Christmas gift for one of her friends. I wanted just a place setting for 4, and found a lot of dinnerware that was all white. my daughter told me about the Lenox Butterfly Meadow and both my husband and I absolutely love the dishes! I love this china set. I need to replace my everyday china and decided to get the Lenox Butterfly Meadow set. They are beautiful but also sturdy so they can be used for everyday china. Since they are dishwasher and microwave safe, they are an excellent choice.

My old set, which I got from Amazon last year, is much better quality than the new set I just ordered. The print is faded and lacks detail. The labels on the back are different and not centered as well. I'm confused. I'm returning and will order straight from Lenox.

OMG. That's the best way to describe this purchase! Or maybe "perfect." Or "stylish." Or "beautiful." However you could also say "sturdy." Or "durable." After buying this set I was so happy with them that I actually went out and spent another $1,000 on building the rest of my Lenox collection. I absolutely love that I can put them in my dishwasher but also use them to serve to guests at an upscale dinner party. I love that I can eat mac and cheese on them but also serve something like poached pairs or shrimp scampi. When I was growing up my grandmother always had these beautiful Lenox figurines that were always beautiful flowers or birds. I was always told how expensive they were and I was always amazed at their beauty. I had no idea that Lenox made dishes. I thought it was only these small sculptures or Christmas decorations. But now I own an entire collection of dishes that are just as beautiful as anything I grew up admiring and they are also functional. I am just over the moon happy with these. So if you can afford the extra money for this collection instead of Corelle, DO IT! Choose a pattern you will love and just dive in! Just be warned, it gets addicting! ... show more
