Not a power unit to say but a good way to run all day in style. I went for the 15.6 inch (from a 14) to get that extra work space and love it. I just received mine for a Mothers day gift. I really love it, it's only been a day or 2, but so far so good. I love the quality of the keys. I need help setting it up and pairing it to my home printer. So I will have to probably call customer service. Although I have noticed that the charger does NOT work. Thankfully I have 2 extras i purchased previously. But Im a little upset about that because everything should work for the price I paid.     • Great option for a lightweight computer

Before I bought this I was carrying around a full size 15" laptop that weighed around 8 lbs. I travel a lot, and that got real heavy real fast. I tried a tablet for a bit, but not having a physical keyboard, plus having to prop up the tablet on its kickstand got really old. This weighs just over 2 lbs and does 99% of what i need it to. I've always had android phones, so I thought I'd try the Chromebook. Pros: Light weight. Battery life 8-10 hours. Low Price. Easy setup. Log onto my google account and then download whatever apps i want from google play. HDMI out so I can connect to hotel TVs and watch movies/youtube on a bigger screen. USB-C charging- works with ANY power level. It will even charge (slowly) from a low power 2A phone charger. Seems to be quite durable. I've carried it around for the past 8 months and even dropped it a couple times. It folds to any angle and even 180 degrees so you can fool the flight attendants into thinking it's a tablet and not have to put it away when they announce for everyone to stow their laptops. Yes it's a touchscreen, but i hate fingerprints so i don't use it unless in tablet mode. Cons: Keyboard is not backlit. Reboots itself occasionally but I haven't lost any data, and it will ask if you want it to restore apps you had open. The Kindle app seems to be the most problematic on this platform. No Caps Lock Key. There is a workaround, not a huge deal. But there are Ctrl and Alt keys on both sides of the space bar. One of those could have been Caps Lock. That's about all. Absolute Disaster – Avoid at All Costs The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook is hands down one of the worst laptops I’ve ever purchased. From the moment I powered it on, it was a nightmare. The performance is painfully slow—even for basic web browsing or streaming tasks. Forget about multitasking; the system lags and freezes constantly. The build quality is just as bad. The keyboard feels cheap and flimsy, the touchpad is unresponsive, and the screen is dull with terrible color reproduction. On top of that, the battery life is nowhere near what’s advertised. It barely lasts a few hours, even with minimal use. I also encountered several crashes within the first week of use, and the system updates didn’t help anything. This Chromebook is wholly unreliable and feels like a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and avoid this laptop—it’s not worth the frustration. Lenovo dropped the ball on this one! ... show more

I Really love my brand new Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook Laptop, Intel® with 15.6 inches display . It came as described and works perfect .The touchscreen is really responsive and the sensitivity can be adjusted from the settings . I have a Toshiba Microsoft laptop and while is updating is useless I have to forget it for the whole day because is takes forever to download any updates even restarting it is a pain but This chromebook from the other side updates and restarts in no time . Some reviewers mentioned that the speakers are not any good but I didn't encounter any problems so far and for laptop the maximum volume is just perfect . The other day I used it for a video call and the camera quality really amazed me .This is a laptop That you can use and do every day tasks even watch movies with ease also at the settings & system updates section mentions that is supposed to take software & security updates until June 2031 and that's another big plus for me .     • I needed to play around to get used to the Chrome universe

I'm experiencing a learning curve from handing in my old Dell laptop (retirement) to getting used to this new machine. Some things are great - no more long wait times for the laptop to boot up, for example. I also like the customization of the dock (although my laptop also was nicely customized), showing me the most often used apps I need access to. However, I HATE not having lit keys on the keyboard. This one is totally on me, as I thought that I had narrowed my wish list down to devices with a lit keyboard. Since the Lenovo has limited storage (though mine does have 64GB of local storage), I purged my old files from my Dell onto a portable hard drive and moved my important daily-need files into two clouds: pCloud (2 TB) and a personal free OneDrive cloud. The latter is extremely helpful if you wish to edit your existent Windows docs and Excel sheets as you will still be able to do that in the cloud. If you open these MS files inside a Chromebook, they will either be non-editable or be converted to Google docs and sheets (as per your setting). The file explorer can be linked directly to your clouds (most of the common ones, at least), so that you can download items onto the Lenovo, then pull them over into the cloud storage folders you specify. That's a really helpful feature. Transitioning from Windows Outlook onto Google calendar was hard. :( The Lenovo allows the Google Calendar icon to appear on the dock, which is very helpful; nevertheless you might have a hard time getting used to the new "universe" if you're not Google-familiar. I played around with this machine while it wasn't plugged in and it lasted forever. That is really nice. Plus it doesn't run HOT like my old Dell did! I like the built-in calculator, which makes this a larger device, not something that is easily toted around. I miss the ability to lock the calculator to prevent accidental inputs. The Lenovo's calculator is just a web app that you can pin to the dock. The actual calculations seem to be running online rather than on your device (hence no lock). The sound is accessed by clicking on the time icon on the lower right. It took me a while to figure out as the two sound icons on top of the keyboard didn't seem to be functional. I initially took off a point for the lack of sound control via keyboard. But in the meantime, I found the manual for this machine and learned that the launcher icon (the white circle between the "tab" and the "shift" keys) must be pressed for any of the function keys to work. The launcher by itself shows you the available apps, files, and images. It will also show you a page with the keyboard short cuts. If you like quick access to Google apps (Maps, YouTube, Photos, Keep) and other apps (Netflix, Prime Video, your password manager), you can pin them directly to the dock and they will either open in full-screen mode or within your browser. You can pin quite a few. I have 12 apps pinned right now, but there is room for more. You can also pin your favorite files to the right of the dock for quick access. In addition, if you have an android phone, messages will flash quickly on the right part of the dock. This is great for two-factor authentication, as you don't even need your phone nearby. So all around, there is stuff to learn if you're new to a Chromebook, but this Lenovo has you covered. ... show more

With 8G Ram, it never bogs down, even with multiple windows open and a lot of low-med level processing. The touch screen works great, keys feel fantastic, track-pad is perfect, the screen size and overall look and feel is great.
