Very impressed with the refurb job on this Thinkpad Yoga series convertible laptop. For the record I don't think shipping time should play into a review's score, so it won't. It did arrive VERY fast however. I was not expecting it as quickly as it had arrived. Physical condition: There was no external dirt, grime, or other signs of previous use. The only indicator it was used was the serial number sticker was a bit worn. Flawless condition. Performance: Laptop works like new, it is as responsive and fast as a new laptop typically would be. I was able to start working on it right away once I got my software installed and it's still working great after many hours of daily use! Battery: I was expecting this to be used enough that the battery would have worn down a bit. I was wrong and I've been using it for the better part of 8 hours cumulative uptime in the first 2 days of use. It is only down to about 30% battery. Pretty impressive. I left tech support unrated since I did not have to make use of their services at this time. If the quality of the product was any indicator, they are probably excellent. Was easy to set up. I like Windows 10. Tried windows 11 in another computer and didn’t like it. This computer has built in stylus and lighted keyboard. Because it was refurbished there were no instructions. Found keyboard light press FN and Spacebar at same time. Stylus is on right side of computer. I use computer on lap while sitting and it does get a bit hot for me. I have ordered a small fan to place under computer while in use. ... show more

I didn’t have high expectations for this laptop from reading other reviewers, but I have to say this is a really great laptop and maybe any bad reviews come from a general lack of knowledge of pc’s in general, not this particular product.. It’s fast, quiet and in pristine condition too for a “renewed” product. Looks brand new. Came double boxed with extra padding. It’s also very light and thin and when folded back into a tablet, you can use it anywhere as it’s small size and weight makes it very portable! Very quiet for an I7 also. Not bad so far for a refurb. Crazy how far we’ve come that these nice laptops are so cheap. Anyways, charger worked and pen arrived. I need the touch screen for signatures and they seems to work well. I will update with a star adjustment later. Any questions fire away.

First of all, I did NOT choose Vertex PC as the seller when I bought this! Amazon pulled a switcheroo on me and when I found that out I let them know how mad that made me. The Laptop had already been shipped before I discovered this. The reason this is a big issue is because the laptop was filthy right out of the packaging. Just look at the images. What kind of seller doesn't clean their used products and leaves debris and their giant thumb print on the screen? The keyboard section wasn't so clean either. I would have returned it the same day if I wasn't desperate. I cannot remember the name of the seller I chose but they had consistent, really good feedback with dialogue between them and the buyers which is the only reason I would buy from a 3rd party seller. Since then I have gone thru a list of sellers and honestly cannot find even one that seems familiar. I wish I'd screen-capped the whole Amazon page at the time. As for the Laptop itself, some of the functions key combos don't work. Remember that part on the Amazon page about "works and looks like new"? FN F7 thru FN F12 do NOTHING. The other FN combos seem to be working. BTW the product info says Gigabit ETHERNET. Ethernet and Wireless are 2 different things. This does NOT have an ethernet port but and special port for an RJ45 ADAPTER NOT an ethernet cable. Two very different things. That's not the seller's fault just copy & paste garbage Amazon is using. The wireless speed is superb though so I can forgive that. The battery took FOREVER to charge but did reach 100% capacity But being an a bit older, the laptop does need recharging after only a few hours. Brand new these got crazy good batterly life. The HDMI display is amazing on our 55" Roku. Intel knocked it out of the park. The sound via HDMI is superb. The system is very snappy. My roommate has a Lenovo Ideapad S145 (that was new) that is total garbage in every imaginable way and I can hardly believe they are made by the same company. Update: I left feedback for the seller describing EVERYTHING that was wrong, including the disgusting smears on the body of the laptop. The seller responded thus: "Sorry to hear about the issue. sometimes debris from under the keyboard can be knocked loose during transit due to vibration and may end up on the screen but can easily be wiped away. sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you. please contact us ASAP so that we can talk to you about your concerns and attempt to resolve them for you." Read less What does that have to do with the function keys not working? What does that have to do with the giant thumbprint on the screen? What does that have to with smears on both sides of the laptop? Thee is no way to directly contact them beyond the dropdown responses Amazon provides. I wanted to have a real discussion with Vertex PC but that is not an option. Last time I ever use a 3rd party seller without screenshotting entire Amazon pages every step of the way. ... show more

nice condition, seems mechanically fine, no scratches or damage. there was so much grime and crap stuck to this thing it was unreal. It was clearly cleaned with a dirty rag, as the grime was streaked on. otherwise it was fine, but i wish they hadn't bothered to wipe it down with a dirty rag before sending it to me. ... show more
