Used a few days and noticed slight freezing. One day it froze completely and wouldn't start. I tried restarting over and over. I finally got this screen. Returning it. I've had cheap generic laptops that were better. Also the ctrl key not being on edge is annoying and the fingerprint reader never worked. Awful. Solid and versatile laptop. My HP touchpad always interfered with my right hand when typing as it was too far to the right of the computer--a design flaw for men with bigger hands (when your palm touches it it makes the mouse erratic and can delete text). The ThinkPad's touchpad is positioned about 1 1/2 to 2 keypad buttons to the left which works better. ... show more

Runs very well. Only negative (and for me it's at least a one-star deduction) is the backlit keyboard is just not very bright. Great fingerprint reader. This was one of the reasons i chose this ThinkPad (beside the red dot). I have macular degeneraton and the backlit is just not bright enough. I touch type for most stuff, but I need it for the number and top rows. I had to order some white keyboard stick-ons on Amazon (they work very well).
