I strongly advise against buying the Lenovo ThinkCentre Micro Desktop. This has been, without exaggeration, one of the slowest and most agonizing computers I have ever used. From the moment it powers on, it feels like it’s already struggling for survival. Performing even the most basic tasks—things that any modern machine should breeze through—becomes a daily battle. Launching common applications like Outlook is a nightmare, often requiring 3 or 4 attempts before it even opens, and when it finally does, the system becomes unresponsive for minutes at a time. The performance is so bad that even simple mouse clicks take 10 to 15 seconds to register. Imagine moving your mouse, clicking an icon, and then just sitting and staring while absolutely nothing happens. You question if it clicked at all, click again, and then suddenly everything forces open at once. It’s infuriating and incredibly unproductive. To call this computer slow is an understatement—it is mortally slow, completely incapable of handling even the lightest workload. It has turned routine tasks into time-consuming chores and made working on it a genuine source of frustration. In summary: • Painfully slow performance • Requires multiple attempts to open basic applications • Severe delays in mouse and input response • Completely unsuitable for professional or home use If you value your time, patience, or sanity—stay far away from the Lenovo ThinkCentre Micro Desktop. After months of troubleshooting, a an extremely slow system doing all of the updates and making sure there was no malware on this computer. We finally had to resort to calling Lenovo itself. These computer computers that are being sold to you are so far out of date and out of production that Lenovo won’t even service them at all. Don’t buy this. ... show more

I ordered this product as a gift for Christmas. Received it quickly, and was able to store it safely for the few weeks until the holiday. Upon trying to set it up, found that either the computer was not in fact new (as it was sold) or that Windows had been incorrectly installed. Was not able to access Windows 11, as I was not greeted by the OOTB set of instructions. Unfortunately, was not able to access and had to return. Slowest pc I've ever experienced. It's absolutely terrible and is too slow to use. We just need it for basic Chrome browser use in a retail store. It literally took over 10 seconds for the right-click context menu to appear when clicking on a file in File Explorer. Totally wasted my time setting it up because I need to replace it with a better machine. Lenovo should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such a horrible product. I love the all-in-one form factor and have about 10 of them in use in my organization. So I'm very familiar with these devices. I'm just blown away by how bad this one is. I bought this to replace a desktop that was made obsolete by Microsoft’s 11 upgrade. The unit is super small, has plenty of plug-ins and I was able to interface it with a small TV which mounted onto the wall, freed up desk space and provided much more power than my iPad and laptop. Windows 11 appeared to be too heavy an operating system. This was supposed to replace a decade old pc running win 10 that could not be upgraded to win 11. I thought I was getting a better pc than the old one but it was very slow and struggled to run simple desktop commands.
