I’ve been using the Lenovo G6 ThinkBook with the AMD processor and it’s been a fantastic experience so far. It boots up quickly, runs smooth even with multiple programs open, and handles everything I throw at it with ease. I purchased 4 of these laptops and at this point I can say that all four of them have had some level of issues with the built in webcam. The first one's camera provided an error message that the camera was not attached, it was subsequently rectified briefly via Lenovo support, they reseated the camera. A few months later the problem resurfaced again, thankfully the service center so far has been gracious enough to accept my recommendation and replaced the camera module in it's entirety. I am suspecting this is a known issue with this camera. This issue is currently affecting another laptop as well. On the other two the cameras, while working have been displaying lines. So far one has been replaced and I am scheduling to have the other sent in to have the camera replaced as well. I am disappointed in the issues with these computers and honestly do regret purchasing them. Having to constantly take them in for repair and being without them for an extended period of time is hampering productivity. My next concern is that I purchased these laptops in March however the warranty seems to have started in August 2024 and will expire in October 2025. With these constant issues I am afraid I'll be stuck with laptops with issues that we'll have to pay out of pocket to get repaired. Also we are unable to transfer or extend the warranty due to the laptops being tied to the United Arab Emirates region. Disappointed and confused.
