Good for the price. Functions as expected with good audio and visual aspects. Fan can be kind of noisy. Battery dies fast if not turned off after each use, even when laptop is closed. Perfect for my college classes for note taking and typing papers.

I think the laptop is fairly decent as a starter device. While the resolution could be better and the touchscreen isn’t functional as expected, it performs well enough for basic school tasks such as researching, typing papers, attending online classes, and managing simple spreadsheets. One drawback is that the display often appears foggy rather than crisp, which may be noticeable for users who prefer a very clear, sharp screen experience. Because of these limitations, I wouldn’t recommend it for high-performance needs like heavy graphic design, video editing, or advanced multitasking. Overall, it’s a reasonable option for students or anyone needing a basic, budget-friendly laptop to handle everyday tasks; just not ideal for demanding or visually intensive work. Ok so - I purchased this laptop for when I travel and work. I was looking for something efficient that could handle multitasking and “heavier” applications. First impression: It’s lightweight and thin in design. When I first opened the laptop it immediately booted up which was nice. It comes with a nice privacy shutter for the webcam that I find easy to use. The laptop does not feel flimsy and the screen does not shake or wiggle when the laptop is being moved around or picked up. The laptop did take awhile to initially update. There were 3 phases to the update and I’d say it definitely took over 40 minutes to complete. It’s important to note that the processor in this laptop is not the best (this contributes to long update times) - I assume they try to make up for it with the newer gen SSD and 12GB of ram. With that said, it was notably slower than my desktop PC - which I expected as I have a gaming PC. Despite this it was not painstakingly slow or super concerning. I used my Microsoft cloud account to restore settings and saved things which was convenient when it came to setting it up. My work requires using a virtual desktop. I downloaded that app and got it setup and running. The apps I use in the VD consist of Microsoft teams, outlook, google drive, and many EMR systems. I tested out the performance by opening a EMR system in browser, an EMR app, teams, outlook, and a couple random browser tabs. It functioned normally and kept up. I can’t speak on the battery life yet. I do have a second portable monitor for this that I have yet to try. I also have a keyboard and mouse I have yet to use with it. I’ll have to test it out again on an actual workday with everything set up and will update accordingly. ... show more
