  • Replaced Desktop w/ 3080
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
This laptop is an absolute monster. There have been some negative reviews on the laptop regarding the trackpad and losing some RGB/USB C ports, but honestly none of them are even remotely shortcomings of the laptop. Everything is quality. This laptop has totally replaced my desktop PC I built that has a 3080 and 5900X in it, and uses a fraction of the energy the PC uses (which helps in San Diego where the energy bills are the highest in the nation :P). One thing I would recommend is checking out BH Photo Video for the 32GB version of this laptop, which can be had for like $100 less than I purchased the 16GB version for. If you're hesitating, I'd recommend this laptop and to just go for it. ... show more

  • Fantastic piece of equipment.
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
Bought this cause my old gaming laptop was having issues. I travel a lot for work so I spend a lot of time gaming on the go. Even on hotel Wi-Fi I feel as though I’m gaming at home. The screen is clear, the loading times on games are still very fast, it’s quiet, it doesn’t heat up very much. The only slight downfall is the weight. It is about .5lbs heavier than my old laptop which isn’t much unless you’re hauling it through airports a lot like I do. I chocked it up to “that’s the price I pay for great gaming on the road.” 5 outta 5 highly recommend. ... show more

  • Absolutely horrible
Capacity: Legion Pro 5i RTX 4070
Worst laptop ever. Every game crashes, horrible support, got scammed on the price with a fake discount. Amazon refused refund. Don’t buy from this seller. Even took it to micro center and Best Buy to get fixed and they ran tests found nothing wrong but it still a crappy laptop. Super slow after 1 month and I wish I never bought this. Horrible waste of money and never buying a gaming laptop again ... show more

  • BEAST MODE
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
This laptop is an absolute beast. The battery life is subpar but if you're buying this for its battery, your priorities certainly aren't in order. This thing can handle everything I've tossed at it while still remaining professional enough to be able to use with work. If you can afford it, absolutely consider the Legion. They have really pulled all the punches this year. I did end up upgrading to some 32GB CL34 4800 RAM and it has increased the shoddy 16GB CL48 5600 RAM the system comes with. Pair it with a WD SN850X and just watch it scream even faster. 200% faster than my Gaming Desktop, worth every penny. ... show more

  • False Advertising
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
This is the Legion Pro 7 16IRX8H not the 7i. It comes with 1TB SSD not 2TB. I wonder what else is incorrect with this. I ran a hardware scan test and it does look like it comes with the RTX 4080 and 13th GEN Intel i9. So, that's good news. Things seem to run well enough though.

  • Very cool running!
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
I’m shocked at how cool this laptop runs… I’ve owned lots of high end laptops and they all are too hot to touch. This laptop is barely warm even after hours of gaming. It also plays everything I throw at it no problem. Very nice! I do wish it had more USB ports but I knew that when I bought it. I think this is the best current laptop at this price and I’m very happy with it! ... show more

  • Definitely a screamer!
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
I got this solely to run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Moving from an 11th gen i7/3060 laptop. Multi-core Cinebench is about double what the i7 is. Noticeable improvement in the sim performance, especially in VR. Still get stutters, but I believe that's either Windows or MSFS 2020, or both. But for $2700, I want Windows Hello login capability. This has the camera, but it doesn't work for Windows Hello. ... show more

  • Do not deal with this seller
Capacity: Legion Pro 7i RTX 4080
1. received the laptop and set up my windows log in, the screen went black right away, had to force to restart multiple times by pressing the power button. Nothing worked. Eventually the issued couldn't be resolved, i had to reset it to factory setting. 2. Decided to return the laptop immediately, packaged up immediately and sent everything back in the original package. 3. The seller charged $360 for repackaging fee and when questioned, the seller lied stating that the laptop was damaged and the returned package missed parts. I barely touched the laptop. It's impossible to miss anything. I mean come on dude it's only a laptop and a power supply, what could be missing from the package? Never had any sort of experience dealing with items purchased from amazon before, amazon has always been really good with returns, that's why i'm deciding to write this to warn other people. ... show more
